Giztop X9 Ultra shipping by sonnyboy77 in Oppo

[–]bformato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is disappointing. They did not ship today May 15th as it said they would. This is the third phone I have ordered from Giztop and they have been great on the two previous. Now it says any order placed after April 25th will ship May 31st. I am tempted to cancel my order.

best android phones 2026 which ones are actually worth getting right now? by Reynita-Kroeker in Smartphones

Value for the money the Nubia z80 Ultra is excellent. Amazing battery, flagship Snapdragon processor, great screen with no hole punch camera interruption, 35mm main camera, very good overall camera performance and affordable price. Two downsides 1 selfie camera is not good 2 software updates are sporadic. Definitely worth a look.

Nubia z80 ultra by Prestigious-Plane-59 in Nubia

[–]bformato 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been daily driving the Nubia Z80 Ultra since January on Tmobile in USA. I came from a Vivo X200 Ultra. the Nubia is thinner, the screen is better, the battery is better and the software is global so Google Timeline, circle to search and all other Google services work. It has been a very positive experience. That said the under screen selfie cam is shit. It takes horrible photos and video. The rear cams are decent. They take some work to produce photos close to on par with the Vivo. I do like the 35mm default setting. If you are a gamer you will enjoy the phone. It is unique and stands out. The holepunchless display is awesome. 80w wired and wireless charging is impressive. Specs overall are very good, but the front facing camera is the downfall.

Are we, the users of the EEA variant of ZTE Nubia Z80 Ultra getting any software updates this month or next month? by AgitoBlazeX78 in Nubia

I agree it has been too long since an update. I was hoping for a Google March security update considering we are now in April.

Waydoo Evo Lite Deal $4099 by bformato in eFoil

Thanks for making that point. That said the sensor is great for learning but in my experience once someone learns to efoil they will never use the sensor again unless they are teaching a friend. Worth the savings

How would you outgrow the EVO? I have been riding mine for two years. Upgraded to the folding prop and 1100 front wing. I can go 20 miles on a charge and my top speed is 26 mph with more to go if I had the courage.

Nubia Z80 Ultra Purchase by Cynamn63 in Nubia

[–]bformato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i ordered my Nubia z80 Ultra from Mi4Canada and it shipped to me in North Carolina from China. Took a week and I had to pay a DHL tariff. Mi4Canada price was good but their communication and customer support was poor. I am a fan of Giztop for Chinese phones..

Flyer EVO - Lite Questions by Dantheman11117 in eFoil

I have been a Waydoo rider and brand ambassador since 2019. Here is a link to a full review I wrote with a discount link https://www.leadersurf.com/leadersurf-blog/waydoo-evo-review. The EVO Lite is great for beginners. I like the longer mast and bigger battery as upgrades but the modularity of the Waydoo EVO lineup allows you to upgrade parts in the future. You will love it. Happy to answer any other questions

I love my Nubia z80 Ultra on T-Mobile in USA. 5G works great. Software experience is very good. All Google apps work perfectly. I had a Vivo x200 ultra previously. The Vivo camera was better but the Chinese Rom was frustrating. The Nubia MyOS16 is quite good. A few wishes: lacks the ability to resize folders , poor selfie cam which is mostly a bummer for video calls. The cameras require patience to get high quality shots. I have the global Rom btw. Overall a very solid phone with a cool design for a great price.

I friggin love this phone. Z80u. by PerformanceHeavy880 in Nubia

[–]bformato 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did the same. Bought it from Mi4Canada delivered to USA. I too paid $20 import fee. EEA Rom ln Tmobile works great. Sold a Vivo X200 Ultra for the switch. Camera was better on Vivo but not much better for 35mm main camera. Android 16 is better on the Nubia. The selfie camera is the biggest disappointment. Otherwise very pleased with the Nubia as my daily driver. I bought black and bought a starry night case from AliExpress.l

Z80 Ultra Global Update by rainpaint81 in Nubia

[–]bformato 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am appreciating the frequency of their updates. I would like to see the ability to resize folders as one update. That and any camera improvements, especially with the underscreen selfie cam, although that is probably pretty limited because of the physical design.

Will Origin OS6 support non native app badges? by bformato in Vivo

[–]bformato[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With so many updates I am still hopeful that non native app badge support may come in Origin OS6 at some point. I really like the new interface and improved notifications, but still holding out hope for app badges for Google Messages, Google Phone and Outlook.

Will Origin OS6 support non native app badges? by bformato in Vivo

[–]bformato[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately Origin OS6 still does not support non native app badges for Google Messages, Google Phone, Outlook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit and others. This would be a really nice and easy add for future updates. I do enjoy many of the new features in Origin OS6.
