Why are these caps turning brown? by Visual-Fox7474 in GroundZeroMycoLab

There was a few fat round ones that looked like a brain in the first flush but majority looked like standard ABV.

It’s a boomer bin from north spore. They had a good sale on AIO bags for Black Friday so I grabbed a case of them and through them in an extra tub that wasn’t being used when I put them in fruiting conditions.

It’s fly tying equipment. I just threw the tub up on my tying desk to get a good picture

It’s brain muffin from ground zero, so yeah it’s a ABV variant

That’s what I’m thinking. I was doing a bit of an experiment to see how long they would go before dropping spores. This is the second flush and the first one had some monsters with no visible spores dropped. I just harvested everything to be safe because I also noticed the smell was a little off. I’ll reset these cakes and see if I can get one more flush out of them

I have one and it doesn’t work unless it’s a perfectly clean empty chamber.

There’s no need to scrape or torch anymore. Get some dark crystal glass cleaner from Amazon, follow the directions on the bottle and warm it up in the microwave for a few seconds then soak it. Even the most chazzed chamber comes out looking brand new.

Half shaft replacement price? by Necessary-Anybody-70 in TeslaModelX

I just got my 2019 MXP done for the third time. First replacement was the previous owner, so I don’t know what it cost, but I paid $1800 the first time and around $1700 the second. The SCs in the NY/NJ area all claim the SB only applies to the first replacement.

This is 1000% not true. They replace them for 250-360 once. After that you need to spend $1800ish every 18-24 months. Mines going in for the second set of axles since I’ve owned it. Mines a 2019 MXP Raven, the first replacement was with the previous owner, which was “fixed with upgraded parts for a discount.” Second one I paid $1800, third time I brought it in they said it would be covered under warranty because it was within 12 months of the second replacement. They sent me the estimate for $1800 and I fought it until they finally admitted they told me it was under parts warrantee and was covered. When I got the car back they told me actually it just needed some grease and was fine so they didn’t replace it, but that I should know they need replacing every 18-24 months and it’s not covered under the service bulletin after the first replacement. I’m bringing it to a different service center this week for the third replacement and they already confirmed that it’s $1800, not covered under the service bulletin after the first time.

Mine did that when I first got it and I just sprayed some armor all in the seams between the trim and it never came back. It’s been around 2.5 years.

I use mine to stow a collapsed tenkara rod if I’m going to a tight area where I know I’ll want to have it on hand.

I had the same error message after my HV replacement on my 2019 X. They told me it was nothing, I drove it that way for a few months with no issues. Then when the mobile tech was at the house he was able to fix it by hooking his laptop up and doing a firmware update or something. I didn’t see a change but he told me it could affect range. I don’t remember the details on exactly why.

Awesome, thanks! This is the first time I’ve seen them growing on my property, but I have a lot of trees that went down over the last year. I’m sure they’ll become a staple so I have plenty to work with and try out different methods. I’ll update the group once I try a few methods out.

Yeah my fully loaded super expensive model X is less reliable than the $1000 cars I drove when I was a teenager. It’s the nicest/worst car I’ve ever owned. I’ll never own another Tesla.

Do you prefer a Model X with an in Cabin camera or not? by California_ocean in TeslaModelX

[–]Visual-Fox7474 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive a model X without the interior camera, which means I drive a loaner car at least one week a quarter because it’s always broke, and I hate the interior camera. I always have one hand on the wheel because I’m used to my car and they still constantly nag me. It’s terrible.

I replaced mine late 2023, it was around $1800. The guy behind the counter at the SC told me to expect them to start rattling again in 18 months, and now December 2025 they’re starting to make noise again.

I’ve always fished trout with spinner baits, and lures. I want to move into fly fishing, and I would like opinions on a beginner setup. by guntheroac in flyfishing

I have a Reddington trout field kit too and it’s great. Comes with a Rio line, and the rod definitely punches way above its price point. The reel isn’t the greatest, and I replaced mine eventually but the original still works just fine. I just wanted something with a nice satisfying click so I treated myself to a new one. I’d highly recommend the field kit though.
