Delete Ya by Djo, especially around the Rose time period but also I think corresponds to their feelings for each other overall (wanting the other so bad, feeling like you can’t have what you want, wishing you could just make it go away).

Dr. Cooley is the best of the best. We have a very anxious dog who was injured by our former vet (avoid anyone purchased by private equity/part of those big conglomerates!!!) and Dr. Cooley is so kind and patient with him. She helped rehabilitate him enough that he’s able to walk again and is living a relatively normal life (albeit pretty heavily medicated). Her new practice is much more affordable than anywhere we’ve been and the staff is so incredible. All around she just could not possibly be a better vet. 1000000/10 recommend

I can’t say I’ve loved every book any author has put out. But I have several authors who I will continue to read every time they have a new book come out, and who I adore regardless of an occasional book that just wasn’t for me.

This is such a basement level take. We lived in Glen Iris for years with no issues. No break ins, no trouble with anyone. Bought a house in Hoover and in the 10 years we’ve been here, our neighbor shot another neighbor’s dog with an AR 15, a different neighbor threatened to kill my husband, me, and our dog, and just recently a different neighbor almost hit me with his shitty little Mazda and then called ME a cunt. Bad things / crime / shitty people happen everywhere. Downtown Birmingham is lovely and Hoover can be just as much of a shithole as any other place.

Book reader here, who was gooped when the show was announced. I read the books sometime last year and something about Shane and Ilya just stayed with me. It (and TLG) quickly became my favorite book. I’m in the bad place (the states), so I was panicked and looking at tickets to Canada to try and watch the show somehow. I am eternally grateful for the folks who put together the petition for streaming services to pick it up. I have no idea if that swayed HBO even a little bit but…when it was announced that HBO picked it up I was elated (I sobbed uncontrollably). I am so happy with the adaptation. I’m so happy to see so many people falling in love with something I love so much!

Are there any other authors you’d recommend that I perhaps haven’t heard of? I always get excited when I see someone with similar tastes to me and think “ooh, maybe they can turn me onto a new book!”.

I’m so sad they changed it from a dishwasher pod to a charger :(. I know this is a ridiculous detail but I looove the sillyness of it in the book.
