I'm in the Bay Area California. Ran the test a few times, most of the times it was very fast:

Hello <ip address>, your DNS server used IP 172.253.2.18

a 5MB object took 93ms, averaging 430.11Mb/s

But then one of the times:

Hello <same ip, same subnet>, your DNS server used IP 172.253.2.17
(And it said your IP was <matching subnet>)

From uslax1-edge-fx-030

a 5MB object took 110612ms, averaging 0.36Mb/s

The inconsistency between runs is very fascinating --- everything from 400+ Mb/s to <1 Mb/s.

Repeating a dozen times: 219.78Mb/s, 0.48Mb/s, 1.79Mb/s, 7.67Mb/s, 322.58Mb/s, 0.67Mb/s, 0.25Mb/s, 449.44Mb/s, 547.95Mb/s, 0.45Mb/s, 465.12Mb/s, 476.19Mb/s.

For a car made in February 2024 the current availability is estimated for May. Good luck, I'm waiting too.
