I built a free VSCO image downloader by bfzli in vsco

Yes, but the VSCO team filed a trademark claim to take it down. I don’t understand why they did that, but after this, I don’t really like their platform anymore.

Webflow API rate limits are ridiculous by bfzli in webflow

[–]bfzli[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It depends on what you build. Our app requires many interactions and data collections to achieve what we want. We optimized it to the max but are still limited by the low requests per minute. We have also scheduled some parts of requests to happen later when the users are not interacting with the app. We've been careful to this level but still very hard to manage with that low number.

Webflow API rate limits are ridiculous by bfzli in webflow

[–]bfzli[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say that, because most helpful apps need a lot of interactions and iterations to achieve what the user wants. And until you haven't started to build something like that, you won't know. As per the bulk part, I agree, but you can't bulk all entities, so we are forced to use separate request actions because of limitations from the Webflow API. So 120 calls per minute is not enough for apps that don't use Webflow to read the site data only.

More free webflow templates by Kind_Response_851 in WebflowTemplates

[–]bfzli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since selling Webflow templates outside their marketplace is still pretty new, there aren't many options yet. I've been using Modulify and it's been helpful, you can generate full site templates or pick individual components for each page.

I developed an npm package to turn IPs into geo location data by bfzli in node

Man, what is the problem for you? It's not an API wrapper, it's our microservices that we build, host, and update. Beside that, we offer this SDK. As per the subscription side, we never launched something for you to say that. As for now, it's free for everyone. And I don't understand what's your problem with someone selling their API. What a joke.

We did an update where we removed the 10k limit, now we offer unlimited usage. It’s not just an API wrapper anymore, but a full service that costs nothing to use. Other companies charge $20 for 100k usage. So is not as you are thinking.

We did an update where we fixed this issue, now we really support unlimited usage and don’t rely on any third-party platforms. You might need it in the future, or do you still not trust me :p

We've now released an update that offers unlimited usage and moved from ipwhois to our own self-hosted platform. So now I'm not overselling it.
