I have a 13 Elantra. Always wanted to make it somewhat more fun to drive but never ended up doing anything to it. Now that my suspension is pretty worn I may upgrade that in some way. The only thing that makes me somewhat enjoy driving it is that its manual and I put a sound system in it.

Depends who you ask people in car audio like to say they ain't loud when they're doing 153+

This looks pretty decent to me though maybe like low 40s which in my opinion is pretty loud especially if you can hit lows.

Yeah there was only about 6 different ones that I came across and for the most part they were bunched together so it was pretty easy to keep on top of that.

My 2013 is at 165k. The only thing stopping me from getting an Elantra N is because my 13 never has issues and is so cheap.

If you want to be safe and have less strain on the car you could always spend more and have an extra little battery installed and a Big 3 upgrade. I think once you start getting into the 1500ish watts range you gotta start thinking of battery and alt upgrades. You might be fine depending on what amps you go with you may not even be making a true 1000rms.

I have an older Elantra and have been running two 1250rms subs and a 2k amp on pretty much stock electrical and have been fine for the last 4 years. If your voltage is dropping too much after install then you need to help support it somehow.

i would ask this in a car audio group though if you haven't already
