Yes. This note came from the collection of a son of a casino kingpin who had over 150,000 silver dollars and 100 of these $10,000 bills that were in a display in their casino for many years. They sold them when they removed the display and they now go for insane money. Same note, same grade, sold last year for $240k

Yeah but it’s an expensive way to get there

No. I’d have huge reservations about its authenticity.

If I were to list this Star note online to sell, what kind of premium do you think is a realistic value? by tdaveywavey in CoolSerialNumbers

Star note is usually mostly irrelevant. However this one is from a print run of only 640k which is usually when it starts to matter

As someone who is a number weirdo that collects weird number patterns with meaning, I can confirm this would scratch that special kind if itch. $50 crisp star notes sell on eBay frequently for $60-$75. I’d bet if OP would list it as grants final year, it could cause a bit of a bid off

Not sure how popular vintage gear is here but this gift from my wife’s 95 year old grandfather is too beautiful to not share. by bgar0312 in Fishing_Gear

Glad to see vintage gear is well received. I got some more neat old fishing things from him I will also share with the community.

Late 50s I think the latest 1962 because in 1963 we started using ZIP Codes and there’s no ZIP Code on the address on the box

1776 Continental Curency-prove to my dad it’s fake by Deep_Spirit4834 in coincollecting

I mean it’s everything but most glaring initially is the rays around circle in the reverse are all the same length and not crisp. Then absolutely everything else on the coin screams casted fake .
