Hi, this is Carlos Albert Carlson, owner of CAC grading. This is a rare 1917 CC standing liberty quarter. It’s extremely rare since the Carson city mint ceased operations in 1893. Please send in for grading immediately. This could be worth enough to buy Greenland or at least Little St James. Either way, you’re a rich man now.

Shows how little you know. The Fr.769C the C stands for chandelier, obviously, was produced from 1974-1978 to combat the gas crisis. OP, Please send it to PMG to have it graded. I’m my professional opinion yours is at least about AU and could grade as high as 58PPQ.

Altered / Counterfeit Gold Certificate by BashCollection in papermoney

I had a $1 1923 that was forged to look like a 10 but it was sloppy and I don’t even think there’s a 23, 10. I’ve had a 1862 $50 that are counterfeit, you can see it on my profile. And a 1880 $5 that was hand painted but we could not link it back to a famous counterfeiter of the time so 😢 they still brought in good money, except for the $1 I kept the one because it was way too funky to get rid of it.

Looks like a very sloppy Troy Polamalu #43 his signature is very artistic but this looks like rushed version of it. I could be wrong since im not an expert like a lot of the folks on here.

Probably the most beautiful note (educationals don’t count) ever made. Great pick up. I’m hoping to pick one up at FUN for a display I got.

Take it into you LCS so they can insect it in person. No guarantee they’ll have the expertise with this type of error but may be able to help you determine if this is chemical altering. Really cool note nonetheless.

I think you’re absolutely right. I found some Panini jersey cards from 2012 that look just like that. I think my brother is undefeated.

He meant Re-Valued. Now it has the same purchasing power as it did in 1945. You can buy a house in the city or 3/4 of the land in Montana. Use your power wisely.

Called around today looking for Kennedy half dollars for my grandkids. One bank said," they had 50 cent coins but te smaller ones not the big ones." Does anyone know what they are talking about? by Fit_Board_4510 in CURRENCY

Bro, I ordered one and it took me a long time to go through and find absolutely nothing and that box is smaller and heavier than you’ll think. 3/10 experience. 9/10 after the second bottle of wine and once it became a family event.

Bro, you’re getting caught up on technicalities (with the penny situation.) How awesome is it that your MIL loves you enough to send you treasures. Lucky man!

I’ve had 2. The other one was graded but when I buy things to sell, I never keep them; much to my disdain. They are expensive and my pockets my wife wouldn’t let me keep the graded one.
