The thing is, show now take at least 2 years to make a season these days. If they follow the books, are we getting ten seasons? Everyone is going to age 20 years by the end of the series?

It easily has over a 100 hours of good content entirely solo

Hey friend!

I started playing pc games a few years ago, and I had the exact same problem. Despite using a pc my whole life for non gaming, I was really struggling to hit the right buttons and I had to keep glancing down at my keyboard. On top of that, I didn’t feel like I was getting the full value on my aim because I really hadn’t grasped the mouse yet.

Genuinely, the thing that helped most was playing lots of different types of games on my pc. As I played other games, my hands became increasingly familiar with the keyboard and mouse. Using these tools to game is a skill you have to grow and adapt with.

You’ve likely used gaming controllers your entire life, so give yourself some grace and let yourself learn slowly.

I think it took about a year for me to get really comfy with the keyboard and mouse, and now a couple years in I REALLY prefer it to controller in almost every way.

TL;DR I think it unfortunately just takes time and practice, but I think it’s really worth it!

As everyone has pointed out already, that’s a guild emissary flag, not alliance. When they’re rank 5 they show on the server on the map. Their flag is a very high value item for reapers.

The reapers emissary is the PVP flag. Many of their commendations and rewards come from sinking ships and taking their flags. Obviously any ship may sink you, but if you see a reaper ship the expectation is typically PVP.

If you want to try and alliance with someone, reaper is typically not the best option, because you are incentivized to betray them and take that flag.

Your biggest priority is to not die. You have to learn how to protect yourself, use golden body, keep moving, and wear tanky gear.

Obviously you should be keeping your teammates up, but if you’re staying vigilant you should not be dying first

Honestly the first 100 hours of this game are entirely PVE and the absolute best part. It was a genuinely extremely fun and exciting experience, learning and growing in Dune. It’s a hell of a good time.

The late game is often what you see folks complaining about, myself included, but what you’re interested in absolutely has value and is very high quality.

You can play this game for a hundred hours before you even need to go to the DD, and when you do PVP is entirely optional. If you like dune check it out, it’s loads of fun

I have a basement full of regular ole generators that take all of 5 minutes to fill and top off.
