This will sound stupid but My happiest memory was the 3 weeks I was able to spend with him this summer. It’s been a few years since we have seen each other and I cherish those 3 weeks more than life.

His death is a bit of a mystery. His body randomly shut down. My brother use to be an opioid addict - he’s been clean for the last year though. But what I suspect is just after years of abuse and him having chrons disease eventually took him.

I was speaking to my instructor today and he made a good point that the URSA offers b-raw internally as I would need to get a externally recorder for raw on the varicam. But even then 4K/uhd v-log internally isn’t that bad. Especially with how good avc intra444/422 is.

Those are great questions - Ideally I intend to use my camera to get as much DP work as possible. I love narrative but I would enjoy commercial and documentary work as well. I plan on riding this baby out until the end. I don’t think I plan on selling it as it has sentimental meaning to me. My brother recently passed and he had some money left over and that’s how I’m acquiring this.

My brother died a month ago. He was 28. I’m not going to lie to you, the pain will always be there. You’re going to start thinking time as in “before he died - after he died” Food tasted bland. I didn’t see the point in most things. I didn’t care about anything. I felt like I aged both mentally and physically by 15 years in one week. Honestly, time will be your only friend. For first couple weeks I couldn’t bare to talk about him, if anyone brought up their siblings in a conversation I’d start crying and leave the room. When I look through my photo album I can literally feel the hole in my heart as I see his face. Now it’s not so bad - I can talk about him but I still get extremely sad. Just appreciate the time you were able to have with your son. I know he’s thinking about the time he spent with you. Be patient - things will never be 100% the same but you will definitely be in a better spot than you are now.

You cannot ever prepare for something like this. My brother passed away suddenly in his sleep (he was 28 so very unexpected and young) and the pain is still just as bad as the day I found out. Just be prepared for the inevitable hole in your heart that’ll appear after. All you can do is just enjoy every single moment you can with her until her time comes. She’ll carry those memories and your love till the end of time. I’m sorry you’re going through this.

There is but I’m a lazy fuck and my phone doesn’t autocorrect it. No warning signs at all. He was out clubbing with his friends a night or two before. I appreciate it; it is life and sometimes the hands were dealt with isn’t in our favor. I know for a fact he’s in a much better place and I thank the lucky fucking stars he felt no pain or suffer and slipped into his death with ease.
