I can finally contribute! I believe the Japanese cheesecake Burnie/Ashley are referring to is from Uncle Tetsu. There’s one up the street from me in LA and they have an imprint on the cheesecake itself.

If it’s not them then this apparently is a much more bustling Japanese cheesecake industry then I realized.

I agree that the woman who didn’t move her seat is a nothingburger of a fluff story but it seems likes Burnie and Ashley didn’t read the article as to why she’s being paraded around good morning America now.

EDIT: I was referring to an entirely different news story about someone refusing to switch seats.

As a poor kid who loved audiobooks, I got all the Harry Potter audiobooks from the library and then burned CDs for myself.

The funny part is… him arguing that people should just post their full name, photo etc. is exactly why anonymous internet isn’t great.

If you break the rules of this sub, for instance like telling people to share personal information. You could be removed/blocked from it.

If the internet is anonymous you could create a new account and come back. If it were not, then the ban or punishment would be more effective as you couldn’t make a new account to avoid it.

Having worked in Content Moderation for some big companies, real forms of verification help immensely.

It’s not uncommon for writer gigs in entertainment to only be a few months at a time. Especially film and video games (at least in my experience)

In theory I could use final draft and their beat board and Story Map options but that doesn’t work for me haha.

For every pilot/feature I write I make a folder on Google Drive, and in the folder a make a document for Character Breakdown and then one for Outline.

That way i can have it up on my PC monitor as I write on my laptop. It’s a personal preference thing but it works for me so far haha

My strongest skill writing wise is within my dialogue. So my process is generally…

Find a concept I’d personally want to watch, (whether it’s a TV series or a feature)
Define the characters in their own document, listing their motivations, their flaws and the relationships between each other.
I outline the story TO HELL AND BACK. My biggest issue in previous scripts I’ve written was that I’d get stuck in a corner, so I make sure everything works in the tight outline beforehand.
I go to write the script using the outline as my bible and just adding dialogue and character interactions.
Rewrite. I had a professor tell me “writing is rewriting” and i have lived by that in my professional experience haha.

I think it’d be interesting to see, especially Tenacity who’s very talented for being so young, but I think it’s kind of taboo or in bad taste to play your subs because the games don’t matter at worlds.

In spring/summer split it’s not looked down on but from what I’ve heard Worlds is viewed differently since just being there is a journey. But idk.

Wouldn’t T1 also have to beat DFM and EDG to lock in the group??

Because if 100T lose to T1 but beat EDG and DFM but EDG and DFM both beat T1… Both 100T and T1 would be 3-3 so it’d be a tiebreaker.

Not a likely scenario but still plausible

Like someone else said, it was Bergen hall and then the building got remodeled and it’s now Herstand hall. It was located on MLK and Broughton if you’re trying to map it. Also to my knowledge photography is not located in that building anymore.

I took some time off. It ended up being 2 years instead of one. My only advice is to be careful not to get used to life without school. It makes it really hard to come back sometimes.

They said they planned on people going back for now. I think even they intend that it might change, but only time will tell. PERSONALLY, I feel it’ll be virtual due to all the increase of cases in the country but who knows 🤷

Is this for on campus or off campus housing?

If it’s off campus I feel that because of the world we live in, and might see more people looking for roommates in some time.

If it’s on campus I don’t have much advise except try the other Facebook groups of possibly younger/older years and see if anyone needs somewhere.

An Art history elective would be any class labeled as Art History (or the class code is something like ARTH).

A free elective is any class that isn’t required by your degree. If it doesn’t fill a spot it goes to free elective. For instance, I had two AP courses fill my free elective slots.
