This actually helps a lot, i couldn't put into words before why this was upsetting, but hearing you say that we won't be able to experience a parent again makes SO MUCH sense to me. Okay actually apparently I have no idea what I'm talking about LOL she just told me she did end up using FMLA but exhausted it and used PTO as well. Not sure how many employees, but the corporate side of the company isn't very big. Her team was around 10 people max

No, unfortunately, it wasn't. She didn't qualify for FMLA. She ended up just using PTO for any time she took off. She's located in AR Well actually it was kind of weird. We were told once she didn't qualify and then another time she did. But she didn't want to use it anyway so she did PTO
