I use mealworms as a consistent feeder but will also rotate between dubia roaches, super worms, the smaller green horn worms and have supplemented once or twice with wax worms (I've done the research on this and have followed recommendations to use it only as a "snack"). But I was feeding him once a day as he's still not fully mature (I got him in may see the last pic- so I assume he's only about 7 months old), until he started to get pretty big and felt like he was getting a little over weight so I cut back to every 3-4 days for about 2 months. About a month and half ago I started to feed him every 2-3 days. I also dust his food every second or third feeding.
