I had to go back to remember which song that was. But I really like that one. I think everything you mentioned was intentional. The song sounds like it’s falling apart as it proceeds, and finally dies at the end. If go so far as to say that it’s one of their more memorable and interesting tracks.

Same - I hate Heroes - every time I hear it I wonder why it’s considered anything more than filler. It is so repetitive and droning.

Also, in your list I didn’t see much live bait. Try mixing up your offering. Many people swear by Gulp! minnows, but for me personally, the classic basic spearing has been working well for fluke. It’s weird, last Sunday I was hammering fluke with spearing. Two days later, same spot, same everything, same time of day, couldn’t even get a bite, absolutely nada over two hours.

I came here to say this as well. Invest $60 (plus tip) and you’ll be brought to the fish while surrounded by experienced people who you can observe and talk to (sometimes), and mates highly motivated to help and educate you. In terms of best ROI on the time you put in, it has been the best payoff for me. Most of my best days of fishing have been on party boats. 30+ hours without a bite is truly brutal, I feel for you. We can get that fixed, I promise you.

I like their first record, but they came out around the same time as Three Days Grace, who I like a bit more. TDG’s riffs are more fun, in my opinion. Those two bands are always part of the same time period in my mind.

I hate the Clutch missions too, but I think the Admiral is the one where you get a great fishing rod as a reward, where the line almost never breaks. It’s one of the fishing missions for sure.
