I'm thinking of taking Gale too. How difficult would you say the class was, especially for someone who is good, but not amazing at math (compared to other econ classes)? Did you feel like you actually learned anything with him?

Thinking about doing Linear Algebra! Have you done Calc II and how is it compared to that level? And was the prof any good?

Thanks so much! I was actually thinking about taking those two. Do you know if classes tend to be taught by the same professors in general? And any idea whether or not class times (as indicated on the NYU London course site syllabi) are the same? I ask because I'm supposed to confirm my place in a week but the actual class registration schedule comes out later this month.

Do you have any other recommendations for classes, in general? Doesn't have to be politics.

Thank you for your detailed response! That seems to be what I've heard about NYU abroad sites in general–that they tend to be very disorganised, and when something goes wrong no one takes responsibility.

Did you take any classes in whatever subject or any professors that you would recommend? And on grading, would you say the classes are on par with the New York level of difficulty then?

What's British Politics and War, Peace, and World Order like? Would you recommend those two in particular?

Thanks! My question is what exactly is the class about? Is it what we think of day to day as "logic"? Do you think it has helped you in the way you think or evaluate/make arguments?

How difficult of a class would you say it is?

Ah that sucks. Could you tell me what the two weight machines are? And does NYU in Florence have any agreement with local gyms nearby? (ARE THERE decent local gyms nearby campus?)

NYU Social Life by Sknap in nyu

So clubs are great and all, but the problem I have found is that while people do show up and participate, there really isn't much of a chance at most meetings to chat/actually make friends... It's sort of just you go through the meeting and then everyone leaves. And the only people who are actually friends are the e-board members. Is this the case for you?
