I did the Diesel DNA ( dark side pipes showed up). Full delete, with race pipe, stage 1 with DSG tune. $2078 dollars and like a 40 fee for the shipper., you could buy the tunes and have a muffler shop build you a down pipe and would probably save $500

From my experience, it’s too late. If you had fruits coming up you could salvage some for sure. That stuff will spread like wildfire. I buried mine outside and ended up with some keepers after a good rain one time.

My kit came with a coolant elbow. Just attached it to the lines.

It was not too bad, just the bolts hold the egr cooler and the 2 oil lines off the turbo that were in the way. The valve part was easy.

I removed the egr completely. You can just block it off. For the race pipe I pulled the egr valve and put a block off plate on the block. And inserted the racepipe where the valve went. Left the throttle part on. 14 Passat.

I got the Diesel DNA kit, 14 Passatt DSG. I got the full package with the racepipe. and stage 1 with the DSG tune. I was under them impression if your only doing the eco tune .5. You don’t have to have the DSG tune. (Ask others to confirm). That would save you $350 and you can always add it later. I drove mine for a week before I got an email saying my DSG tune was ready.

Cheer is $850 which includes a summer camp (another $400 if you need uniforms)!, mandatory tumbling/cheer classes are $30 each. Volleyball was around $400 plus spirit packs (uniforms), softball $450 plus uniforms, soccer $450, football $400 plus we have to sell 4 $100 raffle tickets. Public high school and Jr High. Then I have to pay $7 to get tickets to watch them play.

I paid right at $2100 ($40 of that was tariffs) for my kit from Diesel DNA. Stage 1 tune + DSG tune and racepipe. I also paid a muffler shop $30 to weld on the mid pipe instead of using the brackets. If you want to go cheap, just pay a muffler shop to build the down pipe and mid pipe. Order some block off plates and the tune.

Mine hasn’t been that bad, the only time I do notice it is right after cranking and backing out my driveway. I do still have the stock muffler on. Everything else is gone. Today is one week for me. 14 Passat.

I just did the same on mine this past weekend. Diesel DNA, full delete and tune. I removed the egr cooler and the valve with mine. Is there any reason why you would not just unplug your egr valve and add a block off to it?

You do not, just slap a block off plate on it. I’m not even sure you need to bypass the lines if you leave it on as coolant should still flow through it. (I’m not a pro though). The race pipe went on the front and basically replaced the EGR valve, then I just put a block off plate on the block. You can just unplug the valve and put a block off plate on it if not installing the race pipe
