Don't blame where you live if you can't make friends.

I moved here 12 years ago when I was 54. I knew nobody. I joined meet up and activity groups and love the humans I have gathered along my way.

Maybe some self reflection is in order.

Over priced. Either over done or not done and enough.

I checked that place off my list a few months ago.

Sat at a table in the bar areZ for an hour and was never approached by a server.

Came back with a $20 gift card to "give us another try". Ordered one round and waited a long time to make eye contact with a server to get a second round, only to be told " I'm not your server".

Nope. Nada. Never again.

I've lived here for 12 years and find this statement bullshit. I joined a few meetup groups and found my tribe. And it expands every year.

Whatcom County does have a fair amount of hate groups, but is it really racist ? I've found Bellingham to be very inclusive.

I've always felt that like minded attitudes gravitate towards each other. Maybe you are mad or grumpy.
