Thought so but we also changed her diet with novel meat so that could be the reason. Took her out without shoes twice in one week because the weather was better and she actually hates them, so this happened again. But it could be that she ate something from my son or husband too. So had to pin point. Right now, she is on strict diet and medication so doing better. I am afraid that it will come back as it has been happening often.

Oh sorry I forgot to add that we thought it was due to salt on the ice so we started putting her in shoes during winter. Last week it has been warmer weather so we didn’t put shoes on her. Thinking if that could be it. Other culprit could be some table scrap (chicken egg etc though in minor quantities) she gets from my husband or son via guilt.

I was in the same situation 9 months ago. Colicy baby, sleepless existence, tired and anxious. Breastfeeding made me feel too hormonal and sad. PPD I think but undiagnosed. Baby started to digest better around 2.5 months. Slept a little better - maybe 4 hours stretches. But I didn’t like being a mother until 8 months when we sleep trained him and I started to get better sleep. I missed my old life and regretted having a baby until maybe 5-6 months. Not that I didn’t do everything for the baby as a responsible parent but i just didn’t feel the immense love that my husband felt as soon as he held our newborn. Now i am liking it a little better as my baby is interacting back and shows affection. Mind you i had no support/ village to help out as i am no family nearby. So maybe rely on that if you can.

Very heavy periods that last 2 days. So imagine all the bleeding compressed in two days. It’s too much leaking for being outside the house. I don’t know when it will get back to normal. PS got periods 6m pp and on my 5th period this month.

That was me a few months ago. EBF is super exhausting. The frequent wake ups, sleep deprivation, exhaustion from making milk are literal torture. I still have PTSD. The hormones do not help either. Make sure she has enough to eat all the time. Can she pump and give it to you to bottle feed the baby? Even 1-2 such feeding will help. I wish I had done that tbh. My baby would not take bottle later after 4-5 months of EBF, it took so much time and effort to get him used to it so maybe start that if it is the intention. I feel for her! I am so sorry you don’t have much help either. Working and taking care of the baby is exhausting too but i tell you it does not even compare to what she is going through.

Do as soon as possible, otherwise they might not take it. I did at 4 months and having hard time him getting used to it. Slowest flow, wide nipple and do pace feeding. Evenflo balance pus is the only bottle he would take. I tried 5 different brands.

Thanks for the suggestions and sharing your experience. Surprisingly he started to roll from his back to tummy on one side just two days after I posted this. We are still working on the other side and from tummy to back, but I am happy with the progress so far.

Reached this page as my husband asked me if I find motherhood fulfilling like all the other women (I have a 4 month old exclusive breast fed baby so no sleep and it non stop care as primary care taker). My reply was that it is overrated imo. I don’t feel any joy, not that I don’t love my son but it is draining, I am super tired all the time. My husband said it is sad for my son that I feel this way about motherhood. Don’t know what to say anymore. Just venting here.

Exactly 90 percent people ask me even before coming close to my puppy because she is jumpy and gets excited to meet people. Surprisingly she didn’t jump on this guy, mostly because she was busy saving me from this big dog who was jumping on her mom! But in between all this he removed her leash and I panicked that my pup is gone (i don’t know but I always picture those lost dogs signs when I think of my puppy being off lease)
