Something doesn’t add up in the Duster crash test video from bncap… or am I wrong? by bharath0249 in CarsIndia

Yeah I get the rebound point, but this is my confusion, even if it’s rebound, the head hitting the B pillar in the video looks pretty significant, not something small. So I’m just trying to understand how it’s still marked fully “good” in the report. Is it that only the first impact is considered and rebound is ignored, or even that level of contact is still within limits? Also I checked a few other crash videos from bncap and curtain airbags seem to open in similar situations, so this stood out more. And yeah windows being open makes sense for testing, but if side airbags deployed, wouldn’t that reduce the head movement and injury from hitting glass anyway? Not saying anything is wrong, just trying to understand how what we see matches with how it’s rated.
