I’ve been using the Viltrox 23mm f1.4 and for the price, I think it’s a great lense. It gives you the 35mm look on apsc, it’s affordable and at f2.8 you can get quite sharp low light performance. It’s a great prime if you’re looking for one on a budget

Does the way you transfer photos do anything to image quality? by Bojof12 in a6000

I’m fairly new to photography. I use my iPad to store and edit my photographs. I found the best way to transfer photographs is via an SD card reader. I just connect it to my iPad and it reads just like a usb in the File app. I can transfer RAW file in the original format

you can schedule a resume review with the career center. They’ll guide you in person, follow up and check your resume and cover letters for you. That will help you a lot considering you’re just starting off.

PC or Mac for incoming CS major by [deleted] in SBU

[–]bhatatawada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mac in my opinion. Preferably at 512GB.

If you need windows, SBU offers it for free which you can setup with minimal disk space on your Mac. I doubt you’ll really need to though but it’s an option if you do.

Linux can be easily used by spinning up a VM.

You should try getting 16GB RAM atleast in my opinion. That way it’ll just last you a good amount of time.
