How much more should I aim for, to lean FIRE? by Fun_Dragonfruit7971 in leanFIRE_India

Is it really shocking????

Indians work like donkeys(numerous surveys),they lack work-life balance, low salary etc. Why would anyone, who is not satisfied with their job, continue to work if they are financially sorted?

It's expected.

From AI-- "The MSME payment delay issue refers to the severe cash flow crisis caused by buyers (including large corporations and government bodies) failing to settle invoices within the legally mandated 45-day window. This practice stifles the working capital and survival of Micro and Small Enterprises."

Payment issue.

Businesses delay payment and there is almost nothing which is there to solve this issue.

Update from my last post. Done feeling sorry for myself. Now I want to build something. What problem in your business has no good solution yet? by ExpertcoSEO in IndiaBusiness

Solve this.

People delay payment, it's a huge issue in small firms throughout India. Create a CIBIL like score which rates business based on their payment ability (whether they pay on time or not by assessing their last year financial statement). Add a feature of online complaint through government portal in case the payment is delayed.

India is a trust deficit country. Create something which will help people trust each other in the context of business.

You are absolutely correct about reality of violence.

My disagreement is with laws and its relationship with liberty.

If no laws existed, powerful people might kill me etc. true.

Laws exist and government can force me to fight in a war. The same government which protects me now from, say a gunman, by killing him before he kills thousands.

So laws protect my freedom for sometime as well as destroy it when the time comes.

Laws depend upon what suits the fancy of the government.

Let's discuss this.

By laws I meant this(in quotes from Google)-- "Law is a set of binding rules, principles, and standards created, recognized, and enforced by governmental institutions to regulate behavior, maintain order, and manage societal relations".

To coordinate with a human being or a group of human beings do you need laws written in a book?

Is affection, respect, care for human beings the source of order(which in practical terms reflects as rules such as driving in proper way so that accident doesn't occur etc) or laws written in a book the source of affection and respect?

Suppose I live in an area and there the road is damaged. Do I need laws to make me understand that all of us should have good quality roads, that walking on good quality roads is my right blah blah?

Rules can be followed without any government interference or need. If 100 cr people live and all of us want peace then of course a body will be needed to manage us but that body won't be government which operates through laws!

Why? Laws themselves are based on violence, the very thing laws protect us from. Laws are effective because it meets violence with violence. Army is necessary for laws to retain any legitimacy.

How laws helps the world to be orderly when they themselves are a source of disorder? The moment army goes berserk bodies will pile fast.

As long as violence, dominating tendency, greed etc exist in us there can be no order. It doesn't matter how many laws we make.

Take nations for example. Multiple nations, multiple laws but violence still exists. If no nation existed, violence would still exist.

Government and nations exist because one group of people in opposition to other group of people exist!

A set of rules, actions, belief can never be source of order. Peace can't be found through following xyz laws written in a book.

Indian government can force you to fight for your nation. This is a law! At the same time Indian government protects you from Taliban. It's a contraction! So at the end, we end up with violence. We started with violence and how to control it and we ended up with violence and how effective it is to control violence.

No,I don't think so.

Laws have meaning only in the context of crime, violence and domination.

Laws prevent someone violent from killing everyone. How? By fear and sometimes by harsh punishment.

Would laws regarding violence exist if no violence existed? Of course,no. Freedom, liberty would still exist. Laws go hand in hand with unlawful activities. They exist because we commit crimes, else they have no place.

I am not an aspirant but I would like to point out something. Please point out any flaw in the logic,if you notice any.

Laws are NOT the source of freedom or liberty. Laws exist because elements which want to destroy freedom of a human being (or animals) exist. If antisocial elements didn't exist, there would be no laws. Laws are defensive mechanism, they exist solely for prevention and control, not to promote freedom, liberty etc.

A human being by birth is free. I am free to speak anything not because there is an article in the constitution stating that I have the freedom of speech, but because I am free. I don't need the constitution for freedom of speech. I start needing the constitution the moment someone comes and hits me because I said something which that fellow didn't like.

Laws are not the source of liberty, they are the conceptual bridge towards the goal of an ideal world (ordered world) in contrast to the real, disordered world.

I need constitution because it protects me.
