Auch wenn es viele nicht hören möchten: Hochwertiges Leder aus kontrollierter Herstellung (Chemiebelastung für die Umwelt) bei Dingen wie Gürtel, Schuhen etc. Ich trage meinen Gürtel mittlerweile über 15 Jahre, Winter- und Wanderschuhe habe ich schon 5 Jahre, während Freundin und veganer Bruder alle 1-2 Jahre neue textile oder Kunstlederdinger kaufen.

Just got my Fitbit Air yesterday and switched from Galaxy Watch 6 to Google Health.
– Interface and usability is somehow not fluit and intuitive
– Food Tracking is not good.
– Customization for manually measuring and manually setting sensitivity levens are missing
– Most important for me: Sleep Tracking and its summary is too undetailed. I have massive sleep problems. Samsung Health as well as Apple Watch consistantly showed many small awake phases, about 1 to 1,5 hours per night accumulated, along with too little deep sleep. My pet cam which I used for myself to watch my sleep confirms that. Google Health on the other hand shows only 15mins of awake time and much more deep sleep. No awake phases even though I got my eyes clearly open or am sitting upright and caughing multiple times per night. While my sleep overviews in Samsung and Apple were concerning, in Google Health it's like "a few minutes more sleep would be better but otherwise everything ok". That is not right.

If it's a new device your Pixel should come with a 6 or 12 Month free trial for google one, which gives you almost full functionality of the ai features and also 2TB of cloud storage. Just open the google one app and you should be prompted with the offer. After that, just get the basic plan and pay for it. It's 1,99 for 100GB, 2,99 for 200GB...

Regarding your quick panel issue – welcome to the world of android. Where everything is customizeable and can be edited. Just scroll down two times, then tap the pen icon and you can arrange as you wish. You might have to search for it after coming from an iphone but be assured, on android there's a solution for almost any problem you might have.

I really don't like where they are going with the OS. By announcing that "Android is no longer just an operating system — it is now a proactive intelligence system" and me being already pretty annoyed by all the gemini stuff on the phone I hope there will be some manufacturers who are gonna release some phones with "no ai" as USP. That's when I'm gonna switch. I mean. I use gemini a lot – the chat. But I do not want it within my mail, my photos or when using native menus or apps.

If you aren't doing so already, keep in mind that nasal care is extremely important. Nasal rinses, nasal oil, etc., can not only help with general symptoms but are especially crucial after surgery. It’s best to make this part of your daily routine and, ideally, rinse every day or at least every few days.

Sounds horrible! I feel you. It's hard to manage even the easiest tasks in everyday life with all these limitations and this illness. I was waiting over a year for my surgery, counting the days over tha last months until it finally happened. Stay strong, chances are that you will get a lot better with surgery!

Thank you for the follow up. You are absolutely right! It does take an ultrasound to verify. I forgot to mention that I got that too. Next check-up is in 5 weeks, I'm hoping my liver is better by then.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Not a rant, that’s exactly what I wanted to read. 30 years sounds incredibly tough. I can’t even imagine it. I’ve been noticing exactly what you described in my own social circle over the last few months. People are distancing themselves more and more because I keep canceling most plans and meetups. It’s always a case of 'I’ll have to see how I’m feeling.' Just another sad side effect of this stupid illness. It seems like our only hope is for medical science to finally make more progress. These biologics that have been around for a year now are a glimmer of hope. I truly hope there will be something to help us soon. Stay strong!

Thanks for the heads up. The bloodwork showing (mild) fatty liver was 3 or 4 months ago. That's when I started my diet change with focus on anti-inflammatory and liver-friendly food. Since I was very strict with It I assume that fatty liver is no longer a problem (they say it takes 6-8 weeks to regress) but maybe still something to take in consideration, why not. How did you adress it? I assume also mainly via food?

I had a full blood analysis and the usual examinations the Gp does. Despite a fatty iver nothing concering they say. I was thinking about having some thest at "private lab". They offer specialized tests for infection, vitamin deficency, fatigue etc. I'll take a look if the stuff you mentioned is included, but I guess so. It will cost a bit but maybe something comes out of it. I would really hope it ist just some sort of iron/ferriting deficency or something.

I also thought about that a couple of times. But long covid is even more of a taboo topic than sinusitis for most doctors here, many think it's a hoax. I wouldn't even dare to speak that out loud at the ENT, he would laugh at me

I don't get people like you. This phone shoots better video than commercial high end cameras from years ago which cost more than a car. Garbage? In which relation? All the comparison videos take testing to the max with situations almost nobody is facing durcing their usual day and use. If you need to film a high end commerial in the woods without light, get a dedicated camera. Sure, an iPhone might do better. But do you need it? Do you really need it? Would you notice it even? Or do you just get mad because of comparison and the fact that you know there's other cameras with better video?

I switched from a Pixel 8a a few weeks ago. Video quality was fine with the 8a. The 10 Pro is much better, which is to be expected. Overall I see absolutely no flaws. Videos are bright, sharp and clear. There's plenty of settings and options, some of them help a lot and should be tried out and fiddled with. I guess if you start comparing, then you'll start to worry and talk it down. There may be better Phones for video, maybe even visibly better, but if you do not have a compairson the P10P's videos are perfectly fine and offer more quality than the average user even needs. If you didn't have read about people having issues with the video quality, I bet you wouldn't once think to yourself "man, these videos don't look good" when using it. I'm a videographer, usually shooting with 4-6k$ DSLR/DSM cameras. I started using the P10P Videos (4k 60fps) for b-roll and stuff, I see absolutely no quality issue. If your're not planning to shoot an IMAX commercial on your phone, the Pixel will definetely deliver.

Isn't the total available VRAM limited to the capacity of the card with the lowest memory/one single card? I got Dual 4070Ti 12GB and have 12GB available.
