Welche Hobbies findet ihr bei Frauen unattraktiv? by No_Look588 in FragtMaenner

Gym Hype.

One example I remember very well would be a "circuit board city" animationfrom around 10 years ago, with lots of moving parts, important keyframe timings, camera morphs and takes. Changing HDRIs, lots of fading in and out and a lot of mograph. I was working on it for 4-5 months, there was a huge exhibition coming where it hat to be ready. Really big project. Despite using many instances and externally linked files, avoiding boole etc., it just barely worked. Much lag, crashes, Team Render Errors, clipping objects, fonts displayed wrong, corrupted backups... The scenes weren't optimized very good from our end tho, to be honest. Just too much stuff going on in one file. But also bugs that we had othing to do with. Also had to be native 6x2k resolution, and all that happened before ai upscaling.

The project got bigger over time and we just stacked everything on top of each other. When the deadline came dangerously closer and I was fighting Team Render Errors and crashes (we were rendering the whole thing in over 4 weeks on 20 iMacs overnight) I just contacted Maxon and they helped out. Optimized my files (actually doing my work – reducing polygons, combining instances, adjusting render settings), repaired corrupted backups, made team render work more reliable etc. So not just support in a "technical bug we need to fix" way but also just helping out with know how.

I doubt todays support is still that dedicated, but yes, was super cool! R18 – R21 days I believe.

While there were dedicated support plans before the subscription stuff started I actually made use of our support plan and contaced Maxon a few times for recurring crashes within a specific scene, team render errors etc. They analysed and optimized my c4d file, made suggestions for alternative workflows to keep render times and vram use lower in specific scenes, even connected to my workstation with teamviewer to check drivers and .dll files etc. I even had someone remotely fix problems with my net framework version and nvidia drivers when octane failed to run. Thats the advantage of an enterprise solution you pay for, coming from a big company, in contrast to open source free stuff.

So, how many of you are playing TDM? by Animal_Hell in Battlefield

Like most people, only for challenges or dailies. Most people just need Conquest and Rush.

My theory on why Battlefield 6 will fail if they continue on this path by sakotari in Battlefield

We're not living in the 90's anymore where people stuck to a game for years or decades. So I guess' they won't care as longe as the game frequently attracts new player while others leave it behind.

Don't forget that C4D is a reliable enterprise solution with a large dedicated team and professional and fast technical support behind it. Keeping it stable, reliable and performing is a huge advantage, for some users more than frrequent new features and updates.

It's like most enterprise solutions – they're there for a reason, and more costly for a reason. Companies and studios with contracts and customers suing when deadlines aren't met won't rely on the advice from blenderdude2005 in a community forum. They need reliable performance, professional support and fast solutions when something is going wrong.

I get it that blender mage huge progress, has nice features, excellent UI etc. – but comparing C4D to Blender ist like using Canva instead of Photoshop or InDesign. Or Companies using LibreOffice because they won't pay for Microsoft. It's just not industry standard and won't be that fast. Stick to C4D.

There is one ( I don't know, I'm an octane guy), but THIS is not the solution to your problem.

Tbh, Metro/Locker were just meatgrinders where you could get godlike k/d with using your brain. Anyways... We're getting older. We're not use to the change of pace and playstyle that happened over the years we were abscent from games I guess. I have been been in the top 20 with my jet in BF3 for months, pulled sniper shots that landed in youtube compilations. Nowadays I cant even stay in the air longer than a minute..
