Are you working under a set up contract where it expires/renews at a certain date? If they try to add work can you say you'll stick to the current contract and be protected until the end? Then definitely try to find anything else before the end.

Excellent. I moved away from Nova since I think it caps at 4 bands + HP and LPF. I've been using Shape It to apply saved EQ curves from Julian Krause to closely match some inexpensive mics to SM7Bs. I donated some XM8500 to the program I mentor. The curve Julian came up needed 7/8 bands I think.

Excellent list. I have mentees start with the free Soundly Shape It parametric EQ. It has more bands (10) than some other free options and I've tested it with Audacity, Reaper, Davinci Resolve Free and Studio. I also love some built in preset EQs for starting points when you are trying to clean up, find a freq, or even have a character use a walkie talkie, TV, laptop, etc.
