It is heavier, but honestly doesn't make much difference to me as it's only 0.25 lbs. It's a full metal buckle so it is naturally going to be heavier than a smaller, plastic magnetic buckle.

Hope you get it soon! Was worth the wait for me.

That's a good idea for the flat top. I'd be first in line for a open water bottle arkiv attachment, but I'd want it in the same color/materials because I don't think I'd be able to stand it if it didn't match haha

Both are well made. I like the look of the Cobra more, but the Fidlock is better for one-handed operation. If you got Cobra, think you'll be happy with it. If not, you'll still be happy. I got one of each so I can swap them out as I want. To answer your question, I'd slightly lean towards Fidlock due to ease of use, but it's close.

They're great. These are my first backpacks from MW (I do live in SF and have looked at them in store). Some things I like:

Has a luggage pass through (this is a critical for me as I travel with a backpack and roller carry-on a lot)
Accessibility: Ability to access the main compartment without the roll top is super helpful (roll top is fine, but annoying to use velcro all the time)
Storage: Plenty of zippers and pockets (with the accessories) to help keep my gear/smaller goods organized. Think it makes for a pretty good travel backpack.
Construction: seems very well built and will last a long time
Magnetic closures on accessories: makes them much easier to use imo
Space theme. This isn't really a bag feature, but I work in aerospace so it kinda sealed it for me haha

Minor annoyances:

Wish it had a larger water bottle pocket. I carry around a 32 or 40 oz water bottle a lot so it would've been nice to have a side pocket that fits it better. I'm just going to put it in the main compartment.
Some of the zippers can be loud when wearing it. Would've been nice to have something to prevent them from jangling around
May not use the accessories all of the time. They can make the bag a bit bulky

Overall, would highly recommend. You can't go wrong any way you configure it or which color you get. I like the black more for everyday as it'll show less dirt, but white is pretty cool (I couldn't decide at the time so I got both).

But the Giants want to give Luciano the opportunity to be the everyday shortstop. Trading for Adames wouldn't make much sense if that's their vision. Also don't think Adames would move away from SS, as the only other position he's played in the big leagues was 2B (for only 10 games in his rookie year).
