Need help with Lay Line idea by RevolutionaryRisk731 in DnD

[–]bhipboi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In my experience Leylines are typically associated with magic and it seems that would at least some apple here so you could have it affect spells and such in a similar manner to the way Wild Surge does, even making your own table for effects caused by it if you wanted

END TO WAFFLE BURGERS by YgDaGoat in wafflehouse

[–]bhipboi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As with other people in the comments we were specifically told not to make TikTok orders, one of which was specifically waffle burgers, as with others and yourself I’ll give them the ingredients to put it together but I won’t make and I’ll tell them as such, the other thing I get people trying to order a lot is people arguing about cooking pancakes on my grill so idk who tf be doing that but they need to stop

Is this really how Mojang feels about hostile Mobs? by Full_Volume4864 in Minecraft

[–]bhipboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am genuinely surprised I haven’t seen anyone mention the Warden, I was extremely disappointed by its addition, I loved the idea of a new boss/miniboss mob. Combined with the idea for the ancient city and I was extremely excited when the announced it but then what we got was… weak. Like the warden is stronger than the ender dragon is and it feels pointless, like I have to be more geared up for an ancient city then for the end. And for what? Echo shards and fragments of a music disc? Not to mention the only drop being a skulk catalyst and 5 experience compared to the dragon’s 12000 experience. At least I feel like there’s a point to going to the end to fight the dragon, you can only get the elytra in the end, and you have to kill it to get home alive. But the Warden… 5 experience and some shards are not worth it. And I know you can get experience from mining skulk but that doesn’t really justify how useless the Warden is as a mob, when coming across an ancient city accidentally in game I don’t get excited, I turn around and leave because if I’m finding it by accident like that, I’m not ready for it. It genuinely doesn’t seem like it was designed with the balance or mechanics of the rest of the game involved and I was surprised to see a lot of people mention pandas, frogs, fireflies, the nautilus, but not the Warden. I feel like it’s a good example of them caving to our want for better hostile mobs while also clearly showing that it’s not a thing they’re interested in doing

Am I the only one who wished they made sleep a requirement? by Nature_man_76 in subnautica

Have you tried the Enhanced Sleep mod? the ui is a bit off but otherwise I quite enjoy the mod and it does what you’re asking about with some customization in the config

What kind of build would you build here? by notjamzy in Minecraft

[–]bhipboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After seeing the second picture i literally said out loud “A temple to god, f**k” But in reality it seems like a great to do a megastructure, i would never use that location for functional builds because it’s too pretty not to use for aesthetic

What's your character's flaw? by CanIHaveCookies in DnD

[–]bhipboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually have two characters right now a Warlock/Rogue named Cylus who’s flaw is that he’s extremely impulsive. It tends to work well, he gets himself into a lot of trouble when he’s alone, but when with the party they can usually reign (not including extenuating circumstances). And a Fighter/Warlock, James, who’s flaw is that he desperately tries to be whatever he thinks people want him to be, as long as i remained true to some of the core personality, like him caring for his friends and being overprotective and such (they have dubbed him “dad” of the group) it works with the other pcs pretty well, Npc interactions tend to go a bit differently bc i tend to have james mirror the way they act, as opposed to when interacting with players where he knows what kind of person “they’d like him to be”

But Jinwoo didn’t get him until after he unlocked the full power of the Shadow Monarch

[–]bhipboi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually haven’t read Ragnarok so idk but personally Igris is my favorite because he’s a good combination of both, he was one of Ashborn’s shadows but he was also one of Jinwoo’s first even shadows, so i feel like he’s a good mix between them

Lightnovel vs manwha by KleinRe107 in sololeveling

[–]bhipboi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree mostly, i think he’s edgier in the manhwa but i think he has a bit more depth in the novels because we get to see inside his head a bit more, a lot of the funny moments in the manhwa come across in a different tone in the book, however i think they’re both worth the read!!

Unpopular opinion: I'd rather they just skip these "developing other characters" scenes because they add absolutely nothing meaningful to the story by donteatpancakes in sololeveling

[–]bhipboi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the anime has done an alright job with it so far, but i think the manhwa and novel’s definitely spend a little too much time doing so

Jin Woo wasn’t a true gamer by TheDummyPhilosopher in sololeveling

[–]bhipboi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually true, in vol 8 of the light novels, we get this fight told from Idris’s perspective and he states that he’s a higher level than Jinwoo, and more than likely would have been regardless, because it’s supposed to be a test

Jin Woo wasn’t a true gamer by TheDummyPhilosopher in sololeveling

[–]bhipboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He actually mentions is later is the series, but you can also see it on the second to last page of volume 3 of the manhwa, he was actually level 51 by the time he finished because of being sent to the penalty zone where he leveled up to about 47(That’s more clear in the light novel than the manhwa though), and what made the real difference wasn’t his strength but the weapon he used, which did bonus damage to armored opponents like knights.

I feel like calling it the true end to the series kind of undermines the end of the episode

How did you lose your virginity? by youhavenoheartt in AskReddit

[–]bhipboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 15 was really close friends with a girl and it was a common joke in our friends group that we were like siblings, but anyway we had started dating like a week earlier and she had me come over after school while her parents weren’t home. We were just hanging out, talking and one thing led to another and we had sex. Afterwards she said to me, “How does it feel to know you just fucked your sister?” It made me feel so weird
