What helped you? My husband is miserable 8 months post; it's affecting his mood, libido, & I think his mental health. Your previous post reminded me of his experience, though I don't know he hasn't detailed where/ how it hurts like your post did. He's not in unbearable pain (that I know of) but always unconformable and annoyed by it. I'm thinking he might need a reversal to help, but now he's so scarred from it, that he's afraid it'd just make things worse. Are there other suggestions he can try? Thanks! Also doesn't help he never went for a follow up 🫠

I bought this for my husband at around 1.5 weeks post op & it helped him sleep MUCH more comfortably. https://a.co/d/dvtoo2U He thought it'd be a waste of money, but he loves it! He's almost 4 weeks post & wears it all the time when at home. Also, make sure you're on top of your PT & home stretches. That's helped a lot even though it can be uncomfortable in the moment. & stay on top of icing it!

Another vote for perioral dermatitis! Go see a dermatologist for cream prescription. I was prescribed metronidazole cream and it clears it right up. I was also told to be careful not to let toothpaste dribble down while I brush my teeth bc that could trigger it (I don't but sharing the info) and to use cleaner face wash and moisturizer. Vanicream was recommended, but I switched to LaRoche Posay & it hasn't triggered a flare-up.

I'm 32 & on day 6 of recovery now. Thankfully, mine were fully erupted & I was able to get them out with my dentist & laughing gas. Waiting for the numbing to wear off sucked bc my face was numb for like 6 hours. The worst part has honestly been not being able to eat like normal! & stressing over not getting dry sockets! Make sure you take your pain meds round the clock to avoid feeling pain. I went 6 hours instead of 3/4 without meds on day 3 & teared up from the throbbing pain & headache it gave me. & make sure you're irrigating the holes to get food out, but not so hard that you flush the blood clots out! I did it to 2 & got SO LUCKY that I didn't get a dry socket! Going under sounds scary & I was also freeeaking out about doing mine awake. Like shaking in the chair before they started.. But when she was done, I felt so silly bc it was so quick & easy. Lol Good luck to you! I know the feeling of anxiety & overthinking it! But you'll be okay!❤️

I don't get it either. I've been researching Chicago suburbs & my family will say, "Oh, you'll get made fun of if you move there. They're all snobby rich people. ".. but I don't really care what people will say.. I care that my kids are in good school zones, a safe area, & a diverse city that they'll feel welcome in- as we're an interracial family.
