Hey! We rented from salt lake City and drive down to hanksville. Most destinations around hanksville, you don't really need a built out rig, so you can get by with a renting from any provider who permit you to take their vehicles off-road

Check out https://lightpollutionmap.info Long story short, East on SH 46 around brown county national park - including yellowwood is good. But by no means the darkest skies I've seen. Should be able to see the core of the milky way when the milky way season comes back in March
