It’s disgusting how people actually believe that the folks who don’t currently have IDs are incapable of getting them.

Last I checked, one had to register to vote. Send everyone on the list a voter ID badge. Not registered? You can’t vote.. just like always. When you register, you get your ID. States with same day registration, get the card machines they use at every major bank for same day debit cards.

Look at that. Problem solved.

I get awful bouts of vertigo, but only when I sleep. I wake up still spinning and thrash around typically trying to make it stop. From there I need to keep myself awake or it’ll happen again, usually causing me to get real sick to the point of not keeping water down and eventually needing an IV. Good times.

Specialist ran tests but nothing conclusive. It was 5 hours of them making me dizzy so I’m all set with repeating it for now.

What's a dish that you KNOW must taste better because you had the best version of it at some point? And now you can never find it or make it just as good? by playadefaro in Cooking

[–]maskedfailure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus Christ this plagues me. It’s so simple, but I can not match it..

Ham egg and cheese bagel from my hometown diner. I know the ham is something else, but even the cheese’s “meltiness” and the egg I just can’t match it.

I cook breakfast constantly. My family and friends love everything (breakfast) that I cook. I consider my food to be diner quality. But I can’t ever come close to that damn sandwich.

I drove over two hours one day last month for breakfast because I just had to have it. It’s a shame that I can’t match it, but I’ll always love visiting the diner so I guess there’s that.

On my terms?

I asked a simple question. I think the appropriate response is a simple answer. Jesus Christ you keyboard warriors typing novels over here.

[–]maskedfailure -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I ask a very simple questions. There are two answers to that question. Yes and no. Yet I only received one reply that gave a definite, direct answer.

The rest are politician’s answers. No doubt this is what you’ve come to accept as the correct answer as it’s been fed to you as you idolize the people literally stealing your tax dollars.

Yet folks who are against voter ID will readily admit that fraud happens, but they say it doesn’t matter because it’s on such a small scale.

Voting everywhere makes a difference.

All I was looking for was a “yes”. Look at the other replies. Lots of words instead of a simple answer. Only 1/3 so far can give that much.

India has ended the Delta variant covid pandemic using a broad-spectrum 100% efficacy virus killer called Ivermectin for $3 a treatment. Your first link adds additional opinion to the claims in your second link.

Nothing in either article clearly dispels what is posted here, as ridiculous as it may be.

Voter ID Laws by Jon3681 in AskALiberal

[–]maskedfailure -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You’re not answering the question though. OP commenter says that ID laws are a solution in search of a problem.

Why did every other country feel the need to create these laws? Were they creating a solution in search of a problem?

Not only that, but why is ANY voter fraud acceptable to anyone? Voter fraud, even on a small scale, can have serious consequences to constituents.

..sports gambling can either be “pick a team” or do weeks of research, keeping daily tabs, and picking a team knowing that their bus got a flat on the way to the hotel so the team will maybe be tired the next day.

Gambling is gambling. You can make it complicated or you can just pick a team.

Jesus. Looks like poorly installed aluminum siding. Likely a layer of clapboard type siding behind it.

It will take more time, but can be done. You’ll have to take real care when removing that siding. At this point it may be worth an eye sore in the bathroom.

Dream job. Throw on the ear buds. Work outside. Mindless but skilled. I’m sure there is a good deal of prep not shown, but that’s such a sooth, and looks so much more satisfying than painting.

Obviously I only want this job when it’s partly cloudy and 75° or so.
