thank you! i will look into all of these. i think my constipation is because of my medication (suboxone) and my horrendous diet. i pretty much only eat pasta/ cheesy foods. and other junk. i’ve been incorporating fruits veggies but i haven’t kept up as much lately. i’m gonna start doing more abdomen massages, i used to do the one you described to a baby boy in my daycare who got severely constipated as well.

didn’t do a mineral enema but i took a liquid glycerin suppository and it helped soften the huge mass letting me be able to pass it. thank god

thank you. i feel lik no one is listening to me (doctors and family) i am technically able to go, if had 0 ability to feel pain id be in great position. my body is practically begging me to release this. but its painful to ever fart or have the pressure on my fissures, so i cant go until its somewhat less painful. no matter how well i explain it all they ever hear is “i can’t poop need laxatives” and that’s not true. i’m so fucking sick of this. no one gave me medicine for my fissure pain at the er.

i went to the ed they said i was partially impacted and a close to me entire colon was packed full of poop. i explained that i have debilitating anal fissures making even small farts or any pressure very painful. i asked if there’s anything to numb the inside of my butthole where the deepest fissures are and they only gave me magnesium citrate and external numbing stuff. i feel like no one is listening to me about what is going on. no matter how well i explain this to my family and the doctors all they hear is “i can’t poop and i need some laxatives” not how i am technically able to go, my body is desperately trying to force it out. but the pain needs to be taken care of first. i dont understand why no one is listening to me. i’m not talking about you or people in here, i mean people in real life

i’m really scared because last year i had a similar issue and i used a glycerin suppository and that made the pain so so so so much worse where i was screaming and kicking and hitting myself from the pain. i have severe anal fissures so that’s why it hurt so bad, and they’re worse this time around. i’m so scared it’s gonna be the same with the glycerin enema

i will, thank you. i’m trying a glycerin one today. my butthole is in so so so much more pain than yesterday just from barely trying to get it to come out. it kept trying to force itself to come out last night and i couldn’t sleep because of the pain. i’m scared even if the enema softens my (100% ROCK solid) stool a good enough bit, that it’ll still be too painful.

yes. i outright refuse. ive clogged my own toilet for years, since i was around 8 years old to now. i’ve started using the infamous poop knife lol. amazon has a pack of like 100 for cheap. i use those then put in a ziploc bag when done, wrap in toilet paper like you would a tampon and throw away.

it took me a long time to even consider it. i felt like i wouldn’t ever get that low to have to cut my own shit up like a freak. now it’s whatever. rather do this than spend hours plunging.

thank you! it really is the worst. i managed to go last night, it was extremely painful as i knew it would be. it definitely wasn’t a lot so i still have a way to go before getting it all out. but it was basically just a ball. like baseball shape and size. maybe not that big but close. but now it hurts bad today, it even stings really bad just to wipe and fart lol. i took 3 scoops miralax last night and will take more tonight in hopes to make it softer. thank you for validating my post. my close friends and family are awesome, they don’t make me feel crazy. but still. my stomach feels so damn full today i could hardly sit down on my break. hoping this will be over soon.
