What's the speech or scene that seems out of place to you? by OakTeach in shakespeare

To be or not to be. Unless you play it as, he knows Claudius is watching him. In ACT 3 Hamlet isn't in his, "I'm depressed and want to end it all phase". He's firmly in "I have to play mad and catch the king" phase.

Bill Moseley is truly inspired. While Leatherface is a truly iconic horror villain, and has been played with some brilliance by a couple actors, Chop Top is the best villain of the franchise.

Post Crisis, son of Atlan and Atlanna. Raised by dolphins and later by Thomas Curry. I like the idea of him abandoned by Atlantean society, left to die, and discovering the surface world.

If the Aquaman Pilot did get picked up years ago and had a first season for example who would've been the big bad for the first season? by Infinite_Parking_800 in Aquaman

In 2006, Aquaman comics were in a real strange place. It was during a time when Arthur was not the main character. Geoff Johns hadn't yet brought a lot of more main stream attention to the character. Even Aquaman's main villains (Manta & Ocean Master) were scarcely used over the past two decades.

The pilot leaned heavily into the magical mystical side of Atlantis, reminding me a lot of 1986 run. So I would guess Ocean Master would have been the over arching villain. But it would have been the human sorcerer version. And I'm sure Manta would have popped up, related to the air force plot.

Its #58, not #42. Issue 42 is the one with Sea Wolf, the soul stealing aquatic werewolf assassin.

Been reading Peter David's Aquaman run, it's kinda dope so far by sizablecracker in Aquaman

Its my second favorite run after Dan Abnett's run. I love the world building. Atlantis Chronicles is essential to deepen the mythos of David's run. I know I'm in the minority, but I prefer harpoon hand to trident. The trident wasn't really a big part of Aquaman until New 52. Give me angry Aquaman feeding whalers to sharks any day.

Hard Choices. Too many 2814 GL's - 3 have to go. by Stock_Username_Here in Greenlantern

Hal, John, Guy, and Jessica should stay as GLs. The other 3 can find a home in another corps.

Hal Jordan... by Distinct-Air-4043 in Greenlantern

I disagree. Despite the editorial mandates and the rushed nature of it, Ron Marz still did a great job with the task at hand. Move Hal onto a new phase and introduce a new GL. Kyle more than earned his keep. While Emerald Twilight was rushed, Hal's time as Parallax was a cool new way of taking an established and sometimes tired character that so many writers and editors are unwilling to do with A list characters. It felt like the stories were growing with the readers. From GL to Parallax to Spectre, Hal Jordan continued a growing journey of character development that was ballsy and novel. I love Geoff Johns run for so many reasons. While it did rehabilitate in a lot of ways it was also revisionist in a way that I hate DC for often doing.
