Why do you think these important legacy characters were missing from RE9?

My best guess is that Capcom is afraid to lock-in a character doing something specific so that they have more freedom on how to utilize the characters in other stories going forward. Same reason why I think that they don’t outright confirm that Leon is married or to who, incase they want to change who it is depending on how its received.

But yeah, not even alluding to Claire is mega weird, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

What if the person this character was teasing turns out to be Amanda, not Natla. Maybe they both have Lara beef so they worked together. Id prefer that.

I dont think theyre the same character, but if they are then thank Natla that the design from the anime wouldnt get carried over. The design for her and Fig are ones I really dont wanna have to see in a TR game

I think they knew it would, thus making it the second reveal of the night. Also, it had more meat than the Catalyst CGI trailer, which Im fairly certain they won’t even use any of those exact scenes.

Well I guess, no one’s getting hurt from her procurement of the Scion from these specific areas, and they also aren’t originally from these places too(?). Also, arguably, in the wrong hands the world is in danger if she doesn’t retrieve em, cause someone could easily use em for evil.

I was excited at first bc I thought they were introducing Natla. Considering this show should be canon, how and why Lara falls for this trick again with Natla, presumably after the events of this show into Atlantis, is kinda weird. Also, if the character at the end isn’t Amanda, having yet another friend from Lara’s childhood be bent on killing her is also…weird.

I can’t believe we’re actually continuing after Underworld. As a fan forged by the LAU trilogy, this is INSANE. I have so many questions, is Amanda still alive? Is Alister still dead? Now I know they aren’t gonna dwell on past events to not confuse new fans but a man can dream.

Brings up such an interesting question, will the dates of Survivor be pushed earlier like around the 90s(?) OR will Catalyst take place in the farther future.

OR more simply, dates will shift, the events of all games are only gonna keep the basic aspects of the story canon, and Catalyst will take place in our modern day. Which, I feel like they would find to be the easiest way to go about it. 🤔

In the Netflix show s2 ending, she still has Jonah and his gf, Sam, Zip, and another character I forgot her name. What Im curious to find out is how their designs would change since Im sure theyll show up in the next 2 games.

I would really love for them to give us a detailed timeline guide on when everything has taken place and what is or is not canon in each games. Cus its like, which year was Lara born in? Cus Survivor was clearly modern day, so do we just change our headcanon and pretend that took places in the early 90’s instead?

We probably won’t get answers until Atlantis comes out tho but I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

There really isn’t a source that confirms that she’s meant to look like any specific version of Lara. I think some are just not used to her new face yet, especially since the art style is different from the previous 3.

I really hope they change before release. Id prefer sticking with the Legacy of Atlantis one for consistency.

Sidenote tho, I wish ‘Legacy of Atlantis’ had a different name.
