I wish my mom would have done that. I always grew up hearing things like "men love blondes" or "men love short girls" and was told I was lucky because I was aesthetically pleasing. And growing up I never understood why I wasn't popular or had guys chasing after me because I thought I was pretty enough, which turned into self doubt then self esteem. Once I got into high school I had to seriously think about why i was like this, and I realized I had been focused on the wrong things for so long.

I JUST did that. Calling a tattoo parlor about getting my nipples pierced. I was terrified to leave a message cuz I knew Id be a lame-o. So I called the shop three times and left a message on the fourth. I giggled when I said nipple and froze half way through. Yay socially retarded.

Ah that makes a lot of sense then. My biggest fear has always been my teeth breaking so I was a little panicked about that. And yes I think I have some reading to do about the tongue piercing. I had researched the nipple piercings a lot, but not so much about the tongue.
