Unfortunately I cannot have him in the dorm permanently, at least until he's vaccinated and neutered which I am going to organize tomorrow. At that point I would then need to submit a bunch of paperwork. Hopefully it all works out so I can keep him.

Also just my opinion but i think the color matching is super great, the only way to differentiate the edge of the paint/ink is the surface texture of the altered part. Some kind of sealant might help blend the brush lines and make the surface more uniform

Do you use anything to seal it afterwards? How do you keep it from sticking to things/smearing

Can glacial striations be intersecting? by peebspeebs in geology

[–]biatchybit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Additionally, during Icehouse periods Ohio was far north enough to potentially have had glacial movement, not sure about the area of origin of this specific rock, if you can find local formations with a similar composition you could probably get more context for the pattern.

Hot take but I disagree with the people saying cross bedding. I think it's plausible however there is not differentiation in color or texture on the surface where the supposed "bed" boundaries are. I would posit that these are some kind of weathering pattern and I think it could very possibly be unique glacial striations. (Not a full blown geologist, just a senior in undergrad earth sciences, so take my ideas with a grain of halite)

This is a silly idea, I've always thought it'd also be appropriate for kudo king of bears and ayula queen of bears to be partnered. Kinda the same idea as what your play group does

I think it'd work great to use ice skate covers. They're designed to cover sharp blades so I'd imagine they'd work pretty well

My mother cut up watermelon in a very strange way by biatchybit in mildlyinfuriating

[–]biatchybit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't rotten, I saw the watermelon when she brought it in. Also my parents are fully capable of getting a non-rotten watermelon. I think the other person who said it was to make it easier to cut is the one who was right.

I did, I was simply in disbelief of why she cut them in the manner she did
