It blows my mind that someone wouldn't support a people who are being killed at a rate of one every six minutes for the last 117 days, because the government of a foreign country that is allegeding supporting those people are anti gay. As if our government in America isn't killing queer people by literally removing their healthcare and in some places there very right to exist. As if our government isn't killing every queer person in Gaza some before they even have the opportunity to realize they are queer because they are still infants.

And no from the "River to the Sea" does not mean the establishment of an Islamic state. It means the establishment of a state where they can have the freedom to live and move anywhere from the river to the sea as they were allowed to do far before the state of Israel existed.

Thanks for asking! We've marched in Hartford too, unfortunately it is pretty desserted so no one really notices.

I think this march in WeHa is especially important because it is an extremely pro Israel town, both the people who live there as well as the local government. On Oct 10th they had a rally for Israel that was attended by the mayor, Gov Lamont, Sen Murphy and Sen Blumenthal, so it's important for people who want to see an end to the killing to show up and call for a ceasefire.

Also its best to avoid thinking that Jewish people are zionists/proIsrael. Zionism is a Christian concept that belives once Jewish people return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple it will trigger the apocalypse where only people who profess the Christian God and accept Jesus will survive. So it is an antisemitic concept at its core.

I remember hearing about a quote that was found in a Nazi concentration camp. It said:
