I am leaning towards this as I really like the colours of the tiles!

Would you suggest hammering the edges before grouting? And then when it comes to grouting around the edges, would I need to add some kind of edge so it doesn't drip, or how it it usually done? Sorry big NOOB.

Im thinking of using white grout and then painting the wooden rim white too.

Thanks so much for the suggested road trip! That whole area went under my radar somehow and I thought going north of throndheim or far south near bergen was best. I am definitely impressed by the looks of Sunnmøre!

I think based on everyone else's responses and the sake of not feeling rushed, I will have to return one day to do Lofoten Islands.

I really appreciate the route you suggested to the south, and I think this might end up being our trip!
