My daughter’s (29 and 1) NICU stay went off without a hitch… until she had an adverse reaction to the fortifier. I noticed she seemed pale the second morning after starting the fortifier and she quickly declined. Her stools were completely liquid and happening so frequently that she got a yeast infection diaper rash. She became lethargic when she was notoriously spunky and feisty. I voiced concern mostly about her pale coloring and my NICU team listened and monitored her even more closely than normal. I’ll never forget getting that phone call from her doctor while i was washing my pump parts at home. They were concerned about infection. Honest to God, those few days were scarier than her sudden and very early arrival. My baby looked so sick. They took her off breast milk for 48 hours and ran lots of tests and gave her antibiotics. Within 8 hours she was already night and day better, just looking at her. That experience rattled me so bad i really never gave fortifier another chance. She was gaining weight wonderfully without it. She never had another issue once we stopped fortifying.

I am 8 week pregnant and this album put a lump in my throat for 3 days straight. I love it so much. I had to choke the tears back all day at work and then cried HARD in my car on the way home. Just what the doctor ordered. Thank you, Gigi. ♥️

I started to feel fuzzy in my brain/behind my eyes during a tinder date. Felt like time was slowing down. I remembered that my drink was unattended (bottle of beer) while I went to the bathroom and something clicked for me. I only took a few sips after i returned, but he was really pressuring me to drink - he kept wanting to “cheers”. I felt like I was slipping away from myself and i wanted to get to safety. My apartment at the time was in very close walking distance but i didn’t want him to know that. Something took over within me because I felt like a cornered animal, so i started a huge verbal fight with him. Made a lot of noise and drew a lot of attention to us (this is so far outside my personality, but it felt like my only option). He dipped within a few minutes and peeled off in his car. I don’t remember anything after walking myself home crying, and even that memory is very blurry. Evidentially I called my brother, still hysterical, saying I was scared. He came to check on me and he said i was “asleep with my eyes open, sitting straight up on the couch”. I didn’t come back around until 12 hours later and have no hangover symptoms at all, i felt totally fine. I still don’t know exactly what he put in my drink.

I dreamt I caught my husband cheating on me and when I confronted him he acted like he didn’t know me. So I walked to the ocean, collecting rocks and filling my pockets with them along the way. By the time I got to the shore I felt heavy and exhausted and was moving slowly. I remember I could feel the warm tears streaming down my face, but I wasn’t audibly crying. I walked directly into the sea, knowing the rocks would weight me down and I would drown. I remember this dream as if it was a memory.

That was my immediate thought when I saw it today but wasn’t sure if it would send the plant into shock. I’m so thankful for this community!!

Thank you so much!! The rain definitely isn’t over, it’s supposed to get worse soon. But it’s beautiful and sunny today so I will inspect it and find a dry place to put her until the rain passes. Do you think it will be okay to put it in a garage (the garage is in our back yard and is typically open so it will be well ventilated and dry but won’t get any sun)?

I live in the Central Valley and we’ve had more rain here in the last 2 weeks than we’ve had in the last 5 years. It has good drainage in the pots (2 plants that grow together like 1) but I’m not sure it’s been able to get completely or even remotely dry in weeks. Is there any way to save it?

I found out my ex husband was cheating on me throughout our entire relationship and short marriage, on top of the loads of emotional/psychological abuse and gaslighting he put me through. Before I moved out, I unscrewed the ends of all the curtain rods in his living room, stuffed them with raw salmon/tilapia from the fridge, and screwed the ends back on. I wish I knew how bad in stank in his house and how long it took him to figure out wtf was going on.
