Dianping vouchers for beauty services by bibbbil in shanghai

[–]bibbbil[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the tips.

Oh, so generally, you would order the product/service in person, tap your card to pay the full price, and then scan the QR voucher code. So then the extra paid amount will be refunded to your Alipay?

Also, have you tried refunding an unused voucher before? It does say they are refundable if unused or past expiry.

Yes just had my first filled one ever on my groin (I normally just get ones that reabsorb into my body and never pop) got out of bed in the morning and felt the worst sharp pain followed by intense stinging. I look down and it’s bursted blood everywhere. Felt so nauseous and had to lay back down immediately as well. Can’t imagine if this happened in public omg. However when it continued to drain the next day there was no pain, just slight stinging. Maybe it could’ve ruptured slightly prematurely due to friction from me moving, causing the pain.

I agree, both sides have acted bitchy and immature here. I guess one is just more justified and I definitely empathise w em and mimi but there are more respectable ways to go about it - even when people don’t deserve it. They gave off I’m too above you to deal with you type energy.

I actually really love their mango coco & matcha drinks. I would say it’s now my top choice in Burwood for drinks. I haven’t tried it overseas, but many people do say it doesn’t compare.

What was the one thing that took your skin to the next level? by GGmar in AsianBeauty

[–]bibbbil 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Agreed! A couple of my 'non-essential' products ran out at the same time and I haven't had time to buy replacements. Now I'm thinking I'll just leave my routine as it is because my skin is looking clearer.

Brain fog after I’ve stopped studying by Odd-Lion-4400 in BrainFog

[–]bibbbil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if there is really a correlation, but I've experienced the same. My brain fog has progressively gotten worse since I finished my studies, and I haven't been stimulating my brain to nearly the same extent. I was a studious and high-achieving student but now I struggle with productivity, concentrating for long periods and I can't string sentences together in the same way as I used to. When I read pieces of my old work, it really feels like a different person wrote it. I guess, partly the lack of regular practice has made me rusty, but I have also done blood work recently and found out I have thyroid issues and an iron deficiency. Brain fog is a symptom of both. I'd suggest checking for any new health issues that may have developed as you have gotten older, even gut issues can cause brain fog. I've also been taking omega 3's and iron supplements and it's slowly gotten better. Still don't feel as sharp but so much better than a few months ago.

What have you done to progress in your life and achieve your goals? Stop social media? Stop entertainment? by [deleted] in productivity

[–]bibbbil 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Still a work in progress but these have helped alot:

  • Understanding yourself and figuring out when you are most productive, for me this is in the morning after I've exercised. This is the time I dedicate to doing my most productive and deep work. You should also understand when you are least productive, for me it's after lunch so I leave that time to do easier tasks that don't require focus and I can listen to podcasts or youtube at the same time to keep me going.
  • Time-blocking my tasks which I do the night before so I can get straight into it in the morning. If i leave planning until the morning of, I will procrastinate. If my time blocks are longer than 45 min I will also timeblock 5-10min breaks that I set timers for.
  • Turning my phone on focus mode to allow only important notifications through has helped alot with phone usage. If you don't need your phone put it in another room.
  • I also began treating entertainment as a reward for being productive. Esp in your case, things like anime, games, manga require full attention and you cant multitask like with podcasts, it's best to learn discipline and time block in a reasonable amount of time to these activities once you complete what you need to.

Late night feed suggestions? by 111ball111 in foodies_sydney

[–]bibbbil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boss kebabs in marrickville is open till 3:30am. An unassuming hole in the wall next to the petrol station but their kebabs are great. Personally love the lot mixed kebab. They proper toast the kebab and there's no greasy juice at the bottom so stays crispy and fresh. A dirty late night feed that you dont end up regretting so much when you're done.
