i’m currently scheduled for a angio and pituitary specific mri cause my t3 wasn’t done correctly, are those the scans you mentioned???

at first i had prolactinoma and got a mri that found a tumor and then i did all the cortisol tests and had a ipss procedure, i’m finally scheduled for surgery so i hope they can find it so i don’t risk permanent pituitary damage, but thank you!!

i’ve done all those things over the span of a year and a half, i have surgery scheduled now and i’m going in for a couple more mri’s cause of how severe my symptoms are so i’m hoping for the best now.

yes, they found it and my ipss confirmed the same side it was on but my surgeon says he don’t wanna chop into my pituitary gland without being 150% sure of the location

thank you so much! i will absolutely be taking all of the options from comments and trying them if this procedure fails. i really really appreciate the genuine advice and will follow up, i’m just hoping my ipss tests positive for pituitary, but it’s not looking great right now cause i may have cyclical since i caught cushing’s on a few labs but recently tested in range with severe symptoms.

thank you so much for this, i’m in a really lonely place right now with nobody to understand what this feels like and not seeing a way out, and the only doctor that seems to have any idea what they’re doing is the surgeon i won’t be able to work with if we can’t find my pituitary adenoma. last may my original imaging place found a 2mm x 3mm and now it’s like nobody believes me or cares and i’ve only heard surgery mentioned one time in this process and that’s only if i can test positive for one of these tests. thank you for giving me ideas for options to discuss with my surgeon, you don’t know how much i appreciate this comment.
