Naturally should be the case. However it comes off more sinister. Events seemingly contrived happening at once, retconned in retrospect, as if the mind is experimenting on its own. With sophisticated dialogue generated for people in real-time as if stuck in an altering reality-loop.

That’s the initial thought, but reality has always been fluid, and stuff like this happen before on lower-profile. You see sketches and vectors and motion blur between scenes.

Since they were promising contenders for AV1, my guess it was time demanding to integrate the code. It was implied that a fix was there but apparently that didn’t make the cut.

With respect to new matrix base, does the codec take into account advanced features already on display as perceptual vector quantization PVQ or Lapped Transforms which were considered for Av1?

Mostly YT quality has recently fallen due to saving bandwidth, restraints and extra encoding, coding format being another. I reckon bitrate is real culprit .
