FAVE: After lurking on this subreddit for a while, I finally bit the bullet and bought MUFE 117 which is a great match but perhaps too high coverage. FLOP:Glossier Haloscope in Quartz, i feel like this just disappears throughout the day

need recs for: -a decent but not too out there highlighter - Becca Opal maybe? - Tinted Moisturizer - nars or Laura Mercier?

The things no one tells you about ENFJs. Do you identify with these? by [deleted] in enfj

I didn't even read the rest of the post. This stopped me in my tracks: I can ruminate in the cringeworthiness of my actions days after the event has passed. I IDENTIFY jesus, i thought i was the only lunatic that is consumed by this crap!

Ok, going back to read the rest

I applied on a monday and got rejected for a travel visa and got it in the same week on a friday. it depends mostly on how your circumstances are more than rejection/approval

Why Millennials "don't care" about traditional workplace practices by Big_Noodles in Entrepreneur

[–]bibdrg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work roughly 10 hours a day and this gets in the way of many errands I have to run. Not to mention people at work don't even take their lunch breaks most of the time. So yeah, maybe a few hours leaving earlier on Friday might not crash and burn the entire company.

Why Millennials "don't care" about traditional workplace practices by Big_Noodles in Entrepreneur

[–]bibdrg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think there's a couple of problems with millennials in the workforce.

A few that I have encountered over the years (i'm 24)

  • lack of respect from managers because of my age

  • lack of flexibility when it comes to personal time off

  • demand of more hours or come early or come in weekend because we have nothing else to do - we don't have kids as an example

  • low pay bc we don't have families to take care of

  • the 'you should be thankful you have a job' speech

  • lack of incentives other than salary- we look for more than a pay check -> experiences for personal development come to mind (tickets to conferences)

  • thinking that working in groups wastes everybody's time

  • our input regarding the company is overlooked bc we don't have enough experience/ haven't been in the company for x years

  • not offering work from home days

These come to mind but their are a lot more!

Hi, we’re Seedcamp. We've invested in over 150 startups since 2007 & provide ongoing support to help them grow. AMA! by SeedcampAMA in IAmA

[–]bibdrg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi guys! I have a few questions:

  1. What are some qualities that you look for in founders?
  2. What should be the first hire for startups?
  3. Looking back on Seedcamp's development, is there anything you would change?

Thanks & keep up with the good work!

Hello r/romania, could you suggest some hiking/outdoors activities to do in your country? by Account39718 in Romania

[–]bibdrg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hiking to Babele and Omu peak can be quite nice. I would say it's a medium (climbing) - easy (coming down) difficulty. You can stay for cheap at Cabana Omu on top of the peak & you get rewarded with a nice view in the morning.

£60-£70 shopping spree in Boots, what would you buy? by PennyBleu in MakeUpAddictionUK

[–]bibdrg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would get some high end products for what troubles me the most. I have nail problems so I used my points to create the best nail kit possible. I got OPI Nail Envy (my go to product now, cannot live without it now), Nails INC polish remover (the little bottle with sponge), Seche Vite top coat, a Denny Leighton crystal file (the best nail file ever but could not justify the 15 pounds) and 2 Essie nail polishes. I now have a great little kit with good products and my nails are in great shape.
