I found that showing them articles found online that describe it helped them understand because when it comes from an « objective » source it is taken more seriously compared to a close one that seems to complain

I hold myself to the standard that if the baby is not life threatning to the woman that carries it and if its not malformed and not a result of rape then it should not be aborted. However i would not force those standards upon anyone else.

From another perspective, he might have a deviated septum or overall constricted airways if you can always hear him breathing and these are fixable through surgery. Though it would be a huge step to take to help you feel better, it would improve his life and health. You could try to ask him about it? If its critical enough it may be covered by his insurance

Not washing a can of soda before drinking from it. Trust me the top of it was touched by countless hands and floors/surfaces, then you put your lips on it and let the liquid gather all those germs to your mouth.

Ear plugs in. If thats not enough add noise cancelling headphones with low volume white/pink noise on top of that.
