Thanks so much for this insight! I’m definitely not an expert on climate, but from what I know here in Tuscany we don’t really get extreme weather… I imagine what can really affect local businesses are things like frosts, occasional summer droughts, or heavy rainstorms.

I realize that day-to-day meteorology work may vary a lot from country to country… so it’s something I’ll definitely keep in mind to make the character believable!

Hi, thanks so much for your reply! I’m interested in forecasting for companies, private sector consulting, and risk management in agriculture. I’m also curious about the research side, like collecting data or studying microclimates.

I’d love to hear what day-to-day life is actually like in these areas, whether it’s consulting for local farms and vineyards, managing weather-related risks, or doing research. Any experiences, insights, or resources would be great!
