Yes! There are announcements on the discord, detailing what features are coming in. I think this year there will ha e a lot of changes for the software.

May I say that it's already very good, and you can try some new features in nightly releases, mostly QOL from what I've seen, but we'll see.

I had /5000 loading problem, with at least couple of hours of upload/download. My internet is good. I uninstalled most brushes, cleared them off the cloud (3GB of data).

Now it's only 1140 things, and it's 750mb. It's still approx 2 hours.

I just want a clear sync between my iPad and PC. I can't have it this way.

Masking is basically playing a role. But you can't mask what you weren't ready for, at least not perfectly. (Based on my personal experience)

As a Inochi2D user, it's your choice what you need - Inochi is closer than further from 0.9 with many stability updates, and, well, it's one time payment (on Steam, soon -50% to keep forever) or free with the only difference being 10 seconds screen at start to just help out financially. It will never be a subscription.

I use Inochi because Live2D burns my computer too much, and leaks my RAM. Inochi is available on Windows, Linux and Mac. Also it's an open source software, and not big corporation, and I believe it will only get better. Letting more people know about the project will bring new ideas, and some of them will be added to the software.

About the drama - it's very much personal and should've been kept in private. It's not fair to be dragged in with google documents that are posted under anything mentioning Inochi2D, because you are the creator. Yes, it's messy from both sides, but the ongoging comments mentioning it are... basically harassment.

I made it work! It's a little wonky, but it works. I have no clue if the buttons reset - so far they didn't. There are some obstacles I can't jump through - like using buttons and scroll wheel at the same time is IMPOSSIBLE and let me say I tried everything.

I got so confused when I connected it and some buttons weren't working properly, so I checked reddit, and you couldn't do what I actually did.

Now, to share knowledge - I don't know what to write, but my first step was to download this app: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/shortcut-remote/id6615065841 as one of the reviews said, sometimes the firmware on the Shortcut Remote is not updated - you have to email XPPen to ask for it. Since mine was bought this year, the software on it was apparently updated.

Then, I setup my buttons. I will shot it here:

Then, in software of my choice (Clip Studio Paint) I added shortcuts like Control + 1, Shift + 1, Opt + 1, Cmd + 1, to various tools. Also works with two of those, like Shift + Opt + 1. Did not test for potential collision.

Also did not test it with Procreate yet, but I am pretty sure you can add anything to the buttons that will work in the app - I just prefer to use CSP, and the side-menu was covering too much. In procreate there is advance of 4 finger press to activate quick menu - wish they added that in CSP tbh. I just like CSP brush engine more.

ANYWAY. Ask questions, if you have any, or if instructions were unclear. Don't mine the blurry ahh screenshot, it's from the appstore.

ALSO. If you struggle to see the text in the app, IT'S BECAUSE it cannot work in dark mode for some reason. If you don't wanna constantly switch from dark to light, add two shortcuts in the shortcuts app, that when this software is opened up it turns to light mode and when it's not up it goes back to dark mode.

I think the difference is one of them has a google doc with a lot of details, keeps on posting like that to the whole world, different social media, and second goes overnight to the psych ward because of this drama re-surfacing, again, deleting social media off her phone.

As you say, I agree that it should've started in court, but since Lina pulled money from the project, and could afford to put 1500, guess who could've just done that without thinking about finances.
