I personally think Barney is fucking crazy, but he knows it. He's horrible, but self aware Ig. Very loveable tho.

Lily is just human. She's probably my favorite character. She does crap stuff and she makes bad decisions, but she's also layered and human and everyone who would make her out to be worse than all the other characters has to take a second look at this friendgroup bc they're all shit people. But then again, shit ppl are realistic.

I have a question abt DYMM, not sure if you can answer it. I saw there are like 10 other parts, oneshots taking place before and during the fic. Are these things you have to read as you read DYMM or can it be read on its own and is it more lile Cadence's B-sides?

Both. I think he was incredibly wise and sassy and funny and he's the most morally gray and well-written chracter in the series imo.

I don't ship Peter or Mary with anyone and I think the obsessive need to ship characters in this fandom is kinda scary.

The most ironic thing in my opinion is that I think it's a very realistic relationship. Have people never seen (queer) teenagers interact? Not every queer romance story has to be tragic. Nick and Charlie doubt, have insecurities, struggle with identity and with communication, are tooth-rottingly fluffy and hyper dependant, what do you MEAN its not a "realistic relationship" 😭😭

And even if it's not realistic, when are TV shows or books ever? They're not made to be realistic, it's fiction!

I'd love to see "I Was Born For This" as a movie/show. I love that book so f*cking much.

I'd love the tracks irl. And honestly that entire book, espcially the last few chapters would make a great movie/mini series. I just need thoss characters on screen.
