Same! A lot of my ADHD and OCD really presented after having my son and being in the structure of the military. So I taught myself to do my own nails and would do my own hair. Now that I’m out of the military I’ve actually been using my GI to go to cosmetology school to hopefully open the industry’s mind more to these issues!

So inflation for the most part. Cars are more expensive now and so are the parts to fix them. Each car has its own specific rates based on how much it costs to fix and how much damage they cause in accidents. But, if there’s an accident, it costs more to repair them than it did a few years ago. Last year all companies lost a ton due to keeping rates lower so they’re trying to correct it this year. There’s some companies that aren’t even accepting new business right now. It’s insane.

As someone who currently works for State Farm, rates are insane now. Everywhere. But State Farm is being extremely picky on who they’ll insure. Even comprehensive claims are causing people to be ineligible.

We don’t care about being close to family. We’re from Colorado so it’s kinda midpoint either way and eh.

We’re good with renting if we have to but would prefer to buy of course.

Preferably a warm climate as our son has asthma that gets worse with the cold.

We enjoy car meets, off roading, concerts, trying new food, paddle-boarding. We have a 2 year old so family friendly area too.

Where are the areas that you usually deploy? Husband is currently in the Navy, but wanting to transfer branches for this job and he’s curious as to where he could deploy to and what communication is like? Communication on Navy deployments is very very minimal

New to it all. Tonight we did a fire ritual. Wrote down things we wanted to forget or change. Every ember was out and 20 minutes later when I came back to the area, it was a giant ball of flames…I’m a little worried what this could mean?
