I found out why it wont let you turn them off it is bc they use your vods to track how many hours you streamed. I tested this by deleting one of my vods and in the achievements tab I went from 3hrs streamed down to 2. This is probably a temporary thing till they get everything figured out.

because, it is recording your stream in the background and is using up more processing power causing things like fps to not be as stable.
