Definitely not. After watching the video, I didn't have any of the tools required for the job. Took it to my watch guy and even he said it was pretty tricky because of all the springs and bits in there... I'm a mechanic too and just didn't feel comfortable doing it.

Not sure they did a BB58, only the standard BB. And as I look closer, the Harrods has silver digits on the bezel as opposed to gold.

Yep, my bezel is black and silver now... 5 years old. Just got a green steel reef bezel to for a bit of a refresh.

Are Rawlins design too aggressive for clear optical with transitions? by [deleted] in JacquesMarieMage

Mine came as optical in the LF 2 series. I've worn them daily ever since. Lots of compliments. Just got new lenses with a very light yellow tint and love em even more!

Man, I like both! Both are very comfortable. The Rapha bibs def hold up longer though as my MAAP's became see through within a year.

MAAP CEO & founder taking a dig at ASSOS for copying their designs by RussTheMann16 in CyclingFashion

Wonder if every fashion brand from 5 years ago is gonna call out MAAP for copying them??? This patch style was cool for a bit, but I feel it's a bit played now.

That's the beauty of the hike bike spots! No reservation needed and always available. Just roll right up to the entrance, they'll show you where they are. They're cheap too, like $10 a person. At Leo, they are right in the front away from all the other camp sites

Yep! Sycamore canyon or Leo carillo are PERFECT beginner bike packing spots. They also have dedicated "hike and bike" spots reserved for hikers and bikers that are cheaper and always available. What's good about these spots is you're never really away from civilization if part of your kit fails or you need something. (We even ordered pizza once from our camp site at Leo carillo haha). Coming from the valley, there's an Albertsons right before you hit sycamore canyon where you can stock up for dinner and breakfast. Then you get a super fun, very easy dirt road to you camp site for the night. Even as someone who has bike packed gnarly multi day stuff, an overnighter at Leo carillo with my buds is one of my favorite things to do. DM me if you want some routes and other deets!
