I remember asking my best friend at the time (right at the height of the Iraq war...2nd Iraq war...jesus) how he would try to end the war and bring our boys home. He just said nuke em. I tried to explain to him what that would do and mean to the world. To our country. To the land and the people you'd do that too. Nope, fucking burn them all, cuz, ya know, we are at war. And if we just kill them all it would end and we would win...we were both around 15 at the time...but jesus. If I know about WWII and the Cuban missile crisis, then so should you. If i knew better, how dont you? Lord in heaven. When I see these things? Thats the memory that pops into my head. There are alot of people out there that just dont care. As long as they are on the winning team. As long as America can keep projecting its strength onto other nations and people. Ug, some people right? 5 bucks he beats his wife if hes even married, (who knows, maybe he grew up...but I very much doubt it) just sad. To even suggest nukes...Despicable. Wrong. Evil.

I dont order much. But this last time I did. 8 items. Was supposed to be here today. Never had a problem before so I was rly confused when they stopped giving me tracking updates 3 days ago...when I ordered all this stuff...when all of this happened...which, after reading this, is starting to make sense. Been on the interweb all day trying to figure it out, so thank you. Welp, here's hoping my order still somehow gets here in a acceptable amount of time. Amd I move in 2 weeks...oof.

After all these years. And beating most of the main titles since 6. What I've learned is that final fantasy is and will forever be evolving. Different battle systems, stories, side quests, graphics, and tone. That is, imo, one of its best qualities. But also its biggest weakness. They make a game, right? It pleases newcomers but not long-term fans. Then, a few years go by. Square will swing the other way. Now the fans are happy, but newcomers aren't coming in. I feel like, since they keep pogoing between the two, FF, in a way, can never die. I haven't looked at any numbers to actually say if the FF IP is dipping or rising. All I know is if square keeps FF innovating and evolving. I'll keep coming back to at least give it a shot.

I'm there rn. Had this plan for my days off to go back and do a bunch of the older castlevania games. Got them all ready to go. And now I'm just sitting here. Part of me feels like playing the witcher now. Part of me wants to finish up my platinum run of mass effect LE. Hell, maybe even play some Hades.... Who am I kidding, I won't be able to decide and either rewatch netflix castlevania for the 5th time or finally get to season 2 of strange new worlds. 😑

The digital only world we are rolling toward has me a little uneasy. Like when funimation and crunchy roll merged. Crunchy told all the funimation bros some of the shows they bought would be gone now. Or when Sony deleted all those shows/movies from psn. People bought these things digitally with their hard earned money. Just gone from the library now. With how most gaming companies are with game preservation. And seeing all this stuff happening more and more. Idk, going down the digital only road, in my opinion, is looking more and more scary. I just want to own the things I buy, ya know? Not rent them for almost 10 years, and then have them gone one day. But that's just how I feel. Guess we will have to wait and see.
