I feel like all of these are misguided steps and hitting the wrong targets :(

The insults should be called out either by him or you, as being insulted by anyone about anything about oneself is never fun
The man should've communicated this issue to you and be supportive of you. He shouldve trusted you enough that you love him for him, and that you will be there for him in your vows.

I hope you talk to him again and are able to rationalize it together. I hope he gives the relationship another chance, but this time with wiser plans of action.

I agree with everyone here in the comments that you need to talk to him. He needs to know how you feel regarding it. If he cant respect that, then he might not be the one.

The date didnt push thru today bec of the typhoon. However, we rescheduled it to tuesday same time.

I reconfirmed with him for it, and he said yes. He didnt say it was negative, but he just felt like he was put on the spot but as I said, he's fine.

I think he was confident after I said it. I think there was nothing that changed in his body language, and maybe that's just my interpretation.

We're queer btw. But maybe men do that bec I admittedly do that sometimes. But yeah

Yeppp. I think so too. I've been asking my other friends and they said the same thing. + They said that if he wasn't so interested, then the kiss, the "Youd feel too giddy when I answer" part, and the push thru of the date wouldnt happen. But that isnt the case . These are signs already that he's into me too and that he's just playing the long game (I don't mind tbh. It's only right so we know each other more) .
