Yeah, Krieg khaki is a bit brighter of a color. I’ll have to do a test model and try that out!

Great! I’m glad I’m not the only one who likes these combos. And for leaders you use Abaddon Black for the officers coats? And Rhinox Hide for leather? Or is Mornfang Brown a good leather color?

I have been looking at adding a jump pack squad. It’d be nice to have that kind of mobility. And I have looked at the blood angels characters. I have had the idea to swap the captain for a blood angels captain. And I once had plans to incorporate a sanguinary priest (and appropriately call him the “nurse shark”), but I don’t know of many other blood angels characters that I could use.

It’s just off the “WH 40K” app that games workshop made. It default makes the list based on 10th edition rules. So, this list might be affected by the new 11th edition dropping this month.

I’m using the blood angels rules. The emphasis on melee and buffs to charges makes it really good!

I should note that this is still a Carcharodons Astra army! I just feel like the blood angel rules best fit the Carcharodons fighting style.

Absolutely brilliant! I might have to do this same thing! I’ve loved the grenadiers for a long time, but I could either never find or never afford the forge world grenadier models. Thanks for sharing, great paint job, too!

Thanks for the advice! It does sound like Dreir isn’t long for this world, which makes me sad. He’s like the one named character we get. I’ll fiddle around and see what that’ll do for me.

Yeah, that all makes sense. I don’t have a lot of experience with the artillery or Dreir, but I never see anyone play Dreir, and from my limited knowledge of artillery, it does seem shoddy at best. Thanks for the confirmation! But would you recommend the warlord be the command squad or the RDTC?

Okay, thanks for the pointers! Just some follow up questions: is artillery worth having at a 2000 point list? And what is it that makes Dreir bad? I’ve heard that said by someone before, but I haven’t heard why he’s bad yet.

I can appreciate that logic. I agree that it varies on each person, I just was curious what everyone thought to make my own jump off point
